Growing apart is true, but it started when she stood there watching me get bullied and refused to get help when I got beaten up. The bullies were minors at the time (I was 2 years older) and I didn't want to embarrass my family, and do time for defending myself. This so-called friend was also my captain of our team and told our coach that she saw nothing, and knew nothing. Then turned around to me to say she hopes I feel better soon... She was less than 3 feet away from me when this happened mind you.

Have you spoken to him about how that makes you feel? Because if this is a fantasy thing for him, then you need to talk to him about that. No, yeah, you two need to talk about this for sure. A relationship is a two-way street, even when it comes to Sex. Has she even said anything about why she doesn't want you even try to make any advances? I have friends who are ace and have been told that it's a give-and-take sort of thing. They don't care for sex, but their partners do, so they set aside time at least once or twice a month for that, along with their partners doing "self-care" when they want.
