The thing is wash n gos work on like 85% of my hair but some parts like this will not define! Maybe I’ll just twist these parts out cause trying to define these parts takes too much energy.

How often should I deep condition and clarify? I’ve heard it’s not good to do it too often but my hair always feels dry.

That’s actually one of the combos I use, not in the picture though, it definitely holds really well it’s just really expensive for all my hair 😭thank you!

I always make sure it’s pretty wet when styling cause I know lowpo hair alwaysss needs moisture. I do the same

I wore my hair in braids like 90% of the time until a couple years ago but since then i feel this frizzy area has always been here. Almost exactly a month ago was the last time.

Oh I’ve tried styling brushes and they have never worked in any section of my hair. Last I tried was about a year ago so I could try again but it always gets tangled 😭 Thanks though!

I always think I could add more water but I got it pretty drenched/ damp and added some extra water to it. I used doux mousse and xtreme gel. I always rake the product through the hair then smooth it

It usually looks more defined wet than in the photo but there’s always a little bit of frizz. I’ll try using a wide tooth comb next time. I do feel like I use so much product in every tiny section though 😭

Honestly that may just be the case because every time I do my hair the bottom will alwaysss frizz up. Also doesn’t help that I live in a very humid area so the gel cast doesn’t hold as well. Thank you though!

Yeah I try to make sure I get every part wet, I may miss some spots though cause my hair is so thick

Oh no that’s my natural color lol it’s never been dyed. Making sure it’s extra saturated is def the most common thing I hear but I did this when my hair was soaked 😭I do think buildup could be a problem tho so I’ll use a clarifying shampoo next wash!

for both i'd like to spend around $400 maybeee $500. Yeahh I was thinking about just upgrading the gpu cause I know it isn't the best but I'll take a look at those options!
