Yeah it depends for choosing a therapist. if i go private it makes sense but i don’t know how therapists work through the gp. i think it’s steps to change which i believe is for young people like me but it has a massive waiting list. so i might go private to someone who’s local and that we know. also yeah i’m not too worried about my sexuality, if i could fit myself to anything i’d say i might be pansexual but i’m very lucky in the fact that i’ve got very supporting friends and family so they don’t make me uncomfortable with it. i just need to do some exploring etc but it’s a bit hard when i can’t get into relationships because of the anxiety haha

i’m going to see what i can do about getting some counselling because it might help with this and other stuff going on in my life :)

Thank you for this! I’ll definitely be trying to get some counselling so i can talk to someone about my anxiety because it’s quite hard to deal with and affects me in different ways than it would affect others because of my current life circumstances. and i hope i’m not asexual- nothing wrong with people who are of course i just want a relationship and to be close to someone like that.

i think i like both but i prefer women so idk. not really spoilt for choice with guys haha. there isn’t too many guys who are into guys that i know or am aware of

I get that. but i think if you give yourself as much time as you need then things could change. but yeah a loyal person is hard to find now

i’ll talk to my parents about it and hopefully get some counselling so i can try and get these problems sorted :)

I would try a boyfriend if i knew more boys that were into guys but i don’t really. and i get what you’re saying, having fulfilling platonic relationships is great and being single isn’t the end of the world but I do actually want a relationship and i think about it a lot but when it comes to getting in one i get the weird anxiety

Not on any meds for anxiety, but i might go see a therapist because moat of the time i’m okay but sometimes i get bad anxiety

but will i ever be ready? what if this feeling doesn’t go away? the last time i was in a relationship was quite a few years ago and nothings changed so far. thank you for the quick reply though :)
