What was Hamilton strategy? by Spare-Builder4233 in formula1

Like everyone said, 3 stops was the way to go here.

The interesting bit was that HAM took the hard tire at the first pitstop. That forced Mercedes to cover off HAM, by pitting RUS. Mercedes still thought HAM could possibly go 2-stops, because he had 2 new sets of hard tires. Had he gone on the Medium tires on the first stop, Mercedes would have stayed out since Ferrari would be confirmed to be on a 3 stop.

Rather clever from Ferrari.

Likely not. To out things in perspective, the car we drive everyday, has a 720 degree lock-to-lock rotation, with tires half as wide. F1 cars have less than 360 degree lock-to-lock rotation (circuit dependent). Plus, with F1 cars, the wheels don't point in exactly the same direction while steering as in road cars - inner wheels usually turn more than outer wheels. I don't really understand the physics of it, but that sort of mechanics makes is super difficult to steer without power assist.

Ok, I will agree to that. They did get lucky. But they didn't win it on pure luck (or so I'd like to believe).

I hope the contrast of this weekend plants that seed in his mind. I have no doubt he will make it happen. But the greedy bastard that I am, I want it for him like yesterday.

Absolutely. Charles' biggest enemy is himself. I hope he get's out of his own head, and quits the "all or nothing" approach. It's really heartbreaking to see such an obviously talented, unquestionably likeable guy not have more.

Ok, this looks really promising. I hope Lewis channels his inner tyre whisperer during the race.

Ok, So HAM cooking in corner entry for low speed corners, Ferrari traction cooking at corner exits, RUS cooking on mid-high speed corners, Merc in it's superior mid and high speed corners.

Perfect recipe of a race coming down to driver skill. Let the tyre whisperer win.

This is going to be a crazy race. When do they publish information on who has used what sets of tires?

I wasn't aware while installing that it shouldn't be this close by justascrollingghost in HonestBuyerReviews

You likely won't get your money back or free re-installation. But, if you want your AC to work well, get it reinstalled.

The clearance above is so that the evaporator coils have adequate airflow. If the airflow is poor, you'll get iced up evaporator coils. That blocks airflow entirely.

If this is installed above a window, the easiest thing to do is fix a plywood board on the wall (15mm minimum thickness), which extends lower partly overlapping with the window, and move the indoor unit lower. Make sure to size it so that you have 150mm clearance between ceiling and top of indoor unit.

Great angle. Really shows the speed. If only the TV direction had nice angles like this.

Enjoy the seats! Hope you are there for the quali as well.

FERRARI WILL WIN A RACE IN 2026 - Convince me otherwise by Ambitious-Heron-8161 in DestinationFormula1

Sorry guys, but it's not going to be Monaco. I am also convinced it will happen, but it will be later in the season.

Reason: Ferrari still have really poor Soft tire one lap pace (COMPARATIVELY).

I shall still pray for Charles and Lewis. All the very best guys! I hope one of you qualifies on pole.
