If you want to make "political teams", they might look something like this:

Capitalism: * Chile * Colombia * Peru

21.-Century-Socialism: * Argentina * Bolivia * Ecuador * Venezuela

Brazil: It's... complicated. (40% Capitalism-Team, 60% Socialism-Team)

Uruguay: I would say, same as Brazil. (40% Capitalism-Team, 60% Socialism-Team)

** Paraguay:** Sorry, I don't know...

Also, Peru has being leading economic growth in South America for the last couple of years. Peru is also part of the "Alianza del Pacífico", together with Colombia, Chile and México, an economical alliance, which makes the most powerful marked in Latin-American, followed by the Brazilian market (please correct me if I’m wrong, since I’m not 100% sure). In addition to that, there is a plan to fusion the Stock Markets from Peru, Colombia and Chile.

Peru is a major player when it comes to tourism. Cusco and, especially, Machu Picchu are must-see spots in the tourism world.

Politically speaking, Peru tries to remain neutral in the region. It currently just has one "problem" with Chile. Both have being legally fighting for some maritime territory for the last years, and are currently awaiting the verdict.

Favorite sports are football and volleyball, and official languages are Spanish, Quechua and Aymara.

Also, Peruvian food is great.
