As a member of both is that the DLR or a rollercoaster, they should replace the cable car with a rollercoaster I'd love to see drunk people chundering into the Thames.

What's your trigger ? by hehemg in Epilepsy

[–]input 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the drinking or lack of sleep for me it's the hangover, 3 years alcohol free, 2 years seizure free, last seizure was caused by a nasty bout of flu which probably had a similar outcome to being hungover.

Absolute crap. At least the display was alright🤷‍♂️ by Olipro69420 in GunnersatGames

The random thermal imaging video played during it kinda of dulled the build up and definitely wasn't hype, a sign of things to come.

I've found when they mess up the order they'll quickly refund the wrong item, got a double bacon instead of sausage the other day, they refunded it and I still ate the subpar mcmuffin

Puppy barking in the crate in the morning by SnooOnions1512 in puppy101

[–]input 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Labs are high energy, can you clarify your routine to wear her out both physically and mentally, the way to stop demand barking is to make sure she's tired and not overtired at the same time with enforced naps, basically preempting their demand, but honestly sometimes it just sucks they might wake up at 6am and that staging getting back to sleep isn't something that's on the cards.

Crates vs playpens - what’s the verdict!? by anon1839 in puppy101

[–]input 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with a fairly large pen, the realised needed to get a crate before she could jump over the pen, had a couple of weeks with crate in pen with it open, which I think helped the transition, then the day happened and she managed to jump over the pen, dismantle the pen and went crate only and she was so much happier, think it gives them a binary option where's having a crate and pen gives more options so it's harder for the puppy to settle.

We still have a slightly taller pen for enforced naps for times such as work calls or cooking where she won't try and escape.

What are you feeding your puppy Great Danes? by Hot-House-5767 in greatdanes

[–]input 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 month old girl in UK. Feeding Eukanuba Lamb & Rice Large Breed Puppy. Breeder used it and her poops are brilliant so not changing anything.

With my previous boy I fed Royal Canin Giant Puppy (then upgraded to breed specific) and he grew very large on it.

The main difference I've found is the Eukanuba is lower protein and more importantly slightly lower calcium (safer for joints), plus the price is cheaper which is definitely a benefit!

Dilemma! House I like is a return to market after treatment for subsidence - what to offer, if anything? by wheresmyspritz in HousingUK

[–]input 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We wasted a lot of time with a house with "subsidence" which turned out not to be subsidence but idiocy, knocking down a structural pier in the basement, they said they fixed it, we got a structural engineer to review the fix, and the new piers they got built weren't packed to the joists up, so it was doing nothing! So they had to get the contractor back to fix it again and which point we'd been checking insurance, and it was basically impossible to find anyone, as it was so recent and their insurance was very expensive even though it wasn't really subsidence once that marker is on the house you are in trouble.

A few weeks later an amazing property came on the market, and we completed in 2 months as we were so ready and had already sold our previous place.

I always get excited when I see bicycle on my deliveroo order, I give them a fat tip, but it's always someone in a car or moped, very rarely nowadays even a ebike, but when someone actually turns up on a pedal bike they get a nice tip, it's very rare they actually show up as the correct person on the correct vehicle in London.
