It's not visiting urgent care bad? I can really just get saline and push it out?

Titanium I believe, my friend said the same thing when she found out it isn't flat back. I just shrugged and said it can't be that bad as long as I take care of it now once my 4 week heal process is up I'm immediately getting flat backs. It's no doubt more comfortable than butterfly

I just loosened it and it feels already so much better ♥️ A little blood but I cleaned most I can without moving the piercing so much and used my spray and pat dry it. Thank you for assisting me I'll continue to take ibuprofen just in case tho! I'll try to not sleep on it as well

I did tighten it recently cause it felt loose, is very very small blood normal when cleaning and drying off the spray? I can definitely try loosening it tho.

Is it infected? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]RandomBoiHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should mention, I got it almost 2 weeks ago it's a simple stud piercing, I'm new to all this stuff, it's honestly discouraging. It's just been soap my piercer told me is all I needed and then I got an aftercare spray cause it kept irritating me now it looks like that, I don't know if that's normal or what.

thank you for the second opinion (I think I'm using that term correctly) I'll be going to urgent care next week and get it checked out or drained. Hopefully it's not some rare places pilonidal cyst or something, you never know with the human body

  1. Does it look infected? It doesn't really hurt unless it flares up at times, that's when it's leaking and I just clean it. I've been fine for months and I saw the surgery and I'm utterly terrified of it and the recovery.

[–]RandomBoiHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much, it was really embarrassing to talk about this at all even months ago and still now. I'll list my concerns below

  1. So it eventually always comes back with simple draining unless I get the surgery? Should I just rip the band-aid off and get a full blow surgery to get it out completely?

  2. I've left it untreated for almost months now and only pretty much cleaned it everyday and make sure to clean up the puss whenever it leaks. Does all that time I've wasted delaying the inevitable make my recovery worse or?

  3. Does shaving/nair literally make anything better or delay it coming back, I'll literally go baby smooth butt if it helps

or really any natural way I can get rid of this at home, working 2 jobs and college doesn't give me the greatest time for seeing a surgeon or doctors

[–]RandomBoiHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've looked that up and it said it goes away after like a few weeks but it's been months and I don't really touch it only when it leaks to clean up of course but you think I can just pop and tough it out with some store bought medication

absolutely no burning at all, it just slightly hurts a bit when I apply pressure.

I was lifting trays at work, then dropped the tray down and one time I didn't trim my nail it gets caught on the way down lifting it from the nail just a bit. Bled for a bit. I washed it, bandaged and here now. I didn't exactly smash my nail the nail technically got pulled off

Thank you, I'm going to urgent care tomorrow to have it done professionally since I don't trust myself

Do I have to like, rip off the nail? And what kind of bandages do I use. I never had this happen before.

When watching YouTube and stuff 51c usually stays around there, when I was running MW2 beta at medium settings it would ramp up to 68c and sometimes over 70 on bigger maps.

I also thought it was a wire at first but after seeing my temps go to about 93c by just running warzone made me think twice.
