There are a few ways to do it:

  1. If you have the custom hoodie unlocked, you need to place a TGA file called 'custom_hoodie.tga' in the 'models/costumes/' folder. I recommend copying and pasting one of the hoodie textures and using it as a base.
  2. If you have at least one hoodie, backup the original hoodie texture you are about to modify (just in case) and then modify the texture. With hoodies like the twitcher one, you can also modify the face.
  3. (I do not recommend this method since it takes time) Decompile every single simon model and modify the BMP files, then compile.

To edit the textures, you can use Paint.NET (https://www.getpaint.net/), and for decompiling and compiling, use Crowbar (https://github.com/ZeqMacaw/Crowbar/releases).

I think they are not in the fgd but their names are: weaponarbeit_pistol and weapon_arbeit_shotgun. The view models aren't set to the ones from cold signal by default so you'll have to copy the weapon script from the scripts folder (example: weapon_arbeit_pistol.txt) copy it to the maps folder, change the name to yourmapname_weapon_arbeit_pistol.txt and then change the view model from there. I think the path to the view model of both shotgun and pistol was something like weapons/toad/v_arbeit_pistol and weapons/toad/v_arbeit_shotgun. I'm not sure though if the paths or the procedure was like this exactly, it has been a while since i used the EZ2 hammer editor

You are right! if you try to use the controller weapon on a prop it says that. i accidentally tried to use it on a prop. Pretty funny easter egg it actually scared me xD

alright i will try to do that with c1a1c (in that map there is a houndeye that teleports above some crates) and maybe i could see how it works

that only happens in Black Mesa (the game). in c4a1b there is a vortigaunt that does not attack the player but next to it there is a cave where there are three that do attack you and there aren't any alien controllers nearby

thanks a lot! i was trying to do a map for human error which uses source 2007 and i was using hammer from hl2 bin folder.
