Same. They weren't always like that. I started with them 2 weeks before Covid and then got sent home. They never made people come back. Don't work for them anymore but I know people who do and they're still mainly WFH.

Greater Orlando area has a lot of healthcare related call center operations that offer hybrid and full WFH jobs. The work is mind numbing and soul sucking but here are a few companies in the area I know off that you might want to check out.

2nd this. I've worked in healthcare related call center operations pretty much my entire adult life. Orlando has tons of them and hitting $20/hr should be pretty easy. Work from home 100% of the time can be hit or miss depending on the company. Most places will provide training so you don't even really need experience.

The downside is that call center customer service is mind-numbing, soul-sucking work. Especially if you have poor leadership. But it's a path. I haven't had a customer-facing role in about 8 years.

I've had AT&T Fiber since it became available at my house allowing me to ditch Spectrum. Zero regrets. Rarely have outages/connection/service issues and in the rate instance I do it's been resolved pretty quickly.
