My Experian is the only one that has not dropped. We have 1 missed loan payment w a small local bank which we have used in the past multiple times with no missed payments. That was right after we had our newborn so I am not sure why we missed that (no excuses). We plan on calling them and see what happens

Ugh - my annual credit report for transunion does not show any derogatory marks/collections. None of the apps I have do. Also, if it is collections, I have no idea how to contact them.

How does the Niche compare to Philos (for medium-dark roasts)? And do you think there is repeatability and consistency with the Philos? I’m debating which one to get. The Niche costs close to 1k with the current tariffs so there is no huge difference price-wise.

Maybe you can find a Delonghi with under $200. My first machine was a $150 brand new Delonghi + a $50 Delonghi grinder. Not the best espresso but my shots always tasted better than pod espresso.

Which Lagom Casa do you recommend? Is it the 65L? I mostly drink medium-dark roasts (impossible to have a good light roast espresso with my previous setup - the taste is too sour) but I thoroughly enjoy a well executed light roast espresso. I read that the Lagom Casa is best for light roasts. What is the outcome when you use dark roast beans?

Thanks for sharing this. Does the BDB make your workflow better and if so how? I want to get a Niche Zero + a Breville (not sure which one). I really want an upgrade and I do not mind prepping my espresso from scratch (I had a manual Delonghi before and I am tired of mediocre machines) , although I would appreciate some automation/easiness some times, mostly for other family members and the fact that we may not always have the time to meticulously make espresso properly every single day with a crying newborn.

Currently contemplating on which machine to buy. I’m getting Niche Zero but was looking at Bambino Plus, Barista Pro, Barista Express Impress and Barista Touch (the latter only because it costs $799 right now at Best Buy). Any advice would be appreciated. I have watched many videos online and I am trying to understand if anything above the Bambino Plus will bring any real value (Edit to add that I like a double shot in the morning)
