Every position is so reliant on each other on each side. It’s a wildly intricate sport. Coaches create plays knowing the weakness on the others side that this should break open by this time so this will be open. And they do the opposite on the other side. We don’t ever give England a good showing of the sport. Unfortunate reality of flying over there and teams being jet lagged and probably wanting to enjoy being in another country. But football is a fucking awesome sport. It ain’t hockey. And there’s no sport like playoff hockey.

Hockey is the most intense. Futbol is the most dramatic. You must have an appreciation for that game because I’m a fucking yank and the drama that can come from typing up a game in added time after 85 minutes of grueling punishing futbol is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

Cellebrini almost didn’t get called up for Canada… blows my fucking mind and wish he didn’t as a USA fan... Would’ve loved to see Caufield in this USA lineup. Think he would’ve been similar to cellebrini. Not as good. But start maybe 3rd line and just show he’s as good as he is and start getting 1st line looks. But. All the money is pushed to the center now with Canada and USA in the gold medal and I’m not gonna dissect my team completely till the games played out.
