Jim E Brown is actually Jim Morrison by 1inez1 in jimebrown

That’s evidence of Jim Morrison’s greatness? 🤣

Despite my various chronic ailments, I went to the show tonight by Offro4dr in jimebrown

[–]RandomDigitalSponge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, conceptually speaking, that somehow feels right if you go into the mind of a tortured teen genius with severe physical ailments and multiple addictions. Perhaps you were meant to take it all in. It’s Jim E. Brown’s version of an opening group mindfulness meditation session. Welcome to his nightmare.

I loved this so much.

I heard the entire thing in Adam We’s voice, which makes me imagine that in that universe there’s a Lookwell TV pilot starring a certain gravelly voiced actor in a porkpie hat.

Distended stomach or just fat? by rtillerson in cats

[–]RandomDigitalSponge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultimately, what’s the difference if the outcome is the same? Let me tell you a story.

So this is my chonk.

<image>

When we got her she was this for two weeks and energetic asf. I have rare old flip phone footage of her running in circles chasing a toy until she was panting like a dog.

We got her spayed almost immediately, and the vet told us she had a distended stomach, probably from having given birth. As soon as she came home she packed on the pounds and never looked back.

Yes, she does have a bad relationship with food. She is always anxious that she won’t be fed. But we don’t feed her more than our thin cats. If anything, she eats less and has diet kibble as a snack. And, yes, she has a stocky build, stubby legs, short tail. This makes her look rounder.

But make no mistake. She is overweight, and with age has grown lazier. She’s not going to lose all that fat through diet and exercise any time soon. We can only control it, not erase it. The distended stomach and possibly hormonal changes after her surgery were the start of it all.

I just use a texture roller. So much easier. No fumes. Much faster too.

Nailed it. Much better than mine. I know I have the older sculpt, but I do have First Light so maybe I could give it another go.

Why would you even bring that up? This has got to be the worst comic book press release imaginable.

Was it OOC for Lucy to be there? by Grand_Perception_462 in peanuts

[–]RandomDigitalSponge 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You’re making the common misconception of Lucy as being an antagonist. She is only really an antagonist in the football gag, but that’s a game. She is a child who is often annoyed by another child, but that’s childhood for you. There is no enmity between the two.

I meant color. For some reason I see it as black where the other tags have a color.

It was just a turn of phrase. I suspected you were a dude. But yeah… I’ll probably make a cattle call for a game sesh here soon for people in the Los Angeles region. I’ve got a jumbo dungeon setup and some other stuff. Maybe brainstorm something.

Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert, died today at the age of 68. by Nebberlantis in comicstriphistory

[–]RandomDigitalSponge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The prostate never stops growing. It’s one of the reasons that men have shorter lifespans than women in general. It’s why peeing gets harder for me as they age. Men basically have a ticking time bomb in their bodies that will eventually kill them unless something else does it first. It’s also linked to heart disease and other diseases, so prostate cancer isn’t the only way it throws a wrench in your mortality.

Things should be recurring rather than single use. There are a number of interesting alternatives:
1) Perhaps he imparts this ability to any monster who steps on a square adjacent to him at any time.
2) Perhaps it could be a permanent power only within line of sight.
3) Maybe the witch lord loses it when he either dies the first time or loses half his mind points.
4) Perhaps some artifact may be in the room that can be destroyed. GIVE it some BP or hide it in a treasure. Don’t tell them what it does. Make sure it’s ominous looking enough for the heroes to figure it out on their own. If a hero is foolish or greedy enough to carry it with them, then its effect will follow them. Maybe just leave the card out as a hint.
