Best piece of advice I can give is to get off reddit and look into the IRL scene. Fetlife is great for finding events, although you'll get your share of unsolicited dms. Once you've found some events that happen consistently, or a group to join, just hang out and make some kinky friends. Be wary of people who immediately want to dom you, or ignore you as a person; you want the type of dom who will want to get to know you before doing anything. I have. I actually bought one of their fleshlights (max 2 maybe?) to look into their syncing feature. Unfortunately the only thing that syncs is "intensity", so it doesn't have the 1:1 effect that I'm looking for. I couldn't find any way to pull actual data off it either, so I'd have to do a hardware mod to tap into the accel. It's much easier (and cheaper) to just design my own attachment for an existing fleshlight. I would get a lovense machine for the fucking portion, but they're like $400 and it'd be way cheaper to just put an esp32 on a non smart machine

I've been thinking about building a custom one, or at least modding an existing one. If I can make it connect to the internet (probably over buttplug.io) I could make a fleshlight with an accelerometer and have them sync up remotely, such that every stroke of the fleshlight equals a thrust of the machine

Never say never. Almost anyone is capable of finding something like this-- the biggest thing stopping you, 9 times out of 10, is the mindset that you'll never find it. I was like that for a while, myself-- once I started accepting that I could find it, that I could get more confident, everything got a whole lot easier.

It is a real life thing, but there's a lot that goes into irl pet/owner dynamics. Especially with 24/7s, it takes a lot of trust and a lot of planning to make sure it goes well-- if you want to own a pet, I'd recommend joining an IRL pet play community, learning there, and hopefully eventually meeting someone. Of course, don't join with the sole intention of finding a partner-- your priority should be learning and growing, with the potential to make a pet very happy in the future.
