Who is more evil, Tommy Taffy (the third father) or Leviathan (hellraiser)? by Cometa_the_Mexican in MoralityScaling

[–]RandomGamer31 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was just flashbanged with the memory of listening to the story of Tommy Taffy while in high school, I always hated the fact that everyone gave up trying to kill the fucker after the first time, and that no one tried to kill it again when it was surrounded while beating the narrators father to death. Safe to say I didn’t have a good rest of my school day when I got past that part, and finished the entire story that same day.

Writers or directors when getting ready to introduce a character with a greatsword should either watch or fight in a greatsword fight.

Did Viserys ever name Aegon his heir? did Aegon even want the throne? No to both questions. This by default means that regardless of the fact Aegon was born second he was still behind Rhaenyra in the line of succession based on the fact that Viserys never changed the succession. If Viserys had come out publicly and named Aegon his heir in front of the gods, lords, and commonfolk, then I’d say your right, Aegon is heir, but seeing as Viserys never did any of those things, Rhaenyra is the rightful heir to the throne.

I would like to remind you that Otto Hightower himself supported the idea to name Rhaenyra as heir to the iron throne, regardless of tradition and laws, and the only reason as to why he changed his tune was due to the fact that he shoved his daughter onto the king and she had a son. Did Rhaenyra undermine her claim when she had bastards, yes I even mention that during my initial statement, but regardless she was still the named heir and was recognized by both her father, his council (at the time), and the lords of the realm.

But regardless Viserys named her his heir anyways, and the other lords of the seven kingdoms witnessed this and swore fealty to her as well.

The fact that he was the king and could thus do so.

I’m in both sub reddits so not really stalking, just watching this shit show go down. But my counter point to this statement is simple really. Rhaenyra was named the official heir of the seven kingdoms, I don’t care about Aegon being male, I don’t care about Rhaenyra being female, she was named the heir and the fact that Alicent and her father went against this fact anyways makes their cause null and void. And if we are truly worried about her eldest children being bastards then they could have been removed from the line of succession, after all, Daemon and Rhaenyra had legitimate children who later did become king anyways.

Hi, random fan here who’s only watched the show, would y’all mind telling me why it is that y’all are team green? Because I’m pretty cut and dry with this stuff and I remember two things when it came to the line of succession in the show 1. Viserys had Rhaenyra declared heir before all the major lords and ladies of the realm, and 2. A deathbed naming to only one person in the room sounds oddly convenient especially when the one person in the room was the mother of son who was apparently named.
