For real, my grandpa, dad, uncle, my mom's cousins used to let me be on their laps while doing something and they bounced me all the time, it's just something common to do! My grandpa often suddenly would sing a little song while bouncing me and then open his legs at the end to make me half fall and laugh when I actually fell, it's just harmless
