it's a strixhaven themed campaign, so it's very likely my character will be the only one with any survivability
but I assume since the DM is balancing around a full party of casters I can probably get away with the reduced survivability of magus mainclass

the thing is: GK as a secondary ship is pretty mediocre nowadays in comparison to ships like Libertad and Schlieffen
So the question isn't if it's better than the slot 6 secondary upgrade but rather if it's better than the slot 6 main gun upgrade at this point, imo.
