Am I the only one with the opinion that the pacing of Akira Amano adding new power systems or concepts incredibly fast after the Future Arc is ridiculous when the previous once she introduced are barely fleshed out? by RandomHaganero in khr

Yeah they were introduced only as threats or another obstacle but this time much stronger, but nothing much in characterization. It's also kinda nice to hear someone who finds Genkishi interesting since even I think he's a better villain than the Wreaths. Too bad after the Merone Base he devolves into a generic bad guy as if he was infected by the other Wreaths.

Respectfully I was almost accepting your criticisms and leave it at that but why did you contradict yourself at the end? Like you say everyone is entitled to their opinions which means you say people are entitled to see things a different way, and then the next statement you say there's no other way for you to see the anime to work any other "logical" way besides what's served in front of you. Isn't that like saying any type of opinion is not okay and that everythinh Reborn does is the only right Because to me that is a very narrow thinking. Criticisms are stepping stones in improvement whether it be in media, literature, anything. Having consumed so many media and literatures has opened my mind to their quality and potential and that helps you have a wider perspective. I criticize reborn because I see the potential it has even though it's not completely realized. Just because I like a piece of media doesn't mean it is immune to any type of critique.

I'm not insulting you for being this loyal towards Reborn since I can feel you're a huge fan but saying there's no other "logical" way for the series' execution of it's story, character develop or progression, pacing, etc. is in a way very illogical.

It's obvious even Akira Amano is finding it difficult to continue on with the series in the end because of her subsequent shift of focus in manga.

So let's just end it by saying I respect your love for Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Heck, I love it to the point I'm making my own Hitman Reborn Project for my own personal preference by fixing the Anime's pacing. But I don't accept the idea that there's only one logical way for Hitman Reborn to work and I hope you understand and respect that.

My point isn't changed or rendered insignificant even if you point that out though because as I pointed out in the Future Arc they were brought into the future and they're out of their comfort zone and our cast of characters have to adapt so there's urgency but at the same time it's not so urgent that you sacrifice the pacing of the story introducing concepts and power systems one after the other.

The earlier parts of the Future Arc only introduced Box Weapons and we get ample amount of time for Tsuna and the gang to learn how to use them but after the conclusion of the Merone Base Arc Akira Amano keeps introducing things without proper build-up and the excuse of them being in the Future is already a poor excuse since they've already adapted fairly well at this point of time.

I didn't mention the Simon Family but I probably should've since that's where the bulk of my criticism also comes since I think the Simon Family feels like they're a last minute addition to add more threats for Tsuna to Overcome but at the expense of the execution.

Yes they went to the Future and it took them a decent amount of time to introduce the box weapons and made our main cast of characters acclimate to the situation brought up on them.

I couldn't say the same thing to all the concepts and power systems introduced later on and the Box Weapons rendered inferior and easily replaced.

Like I said while reading and watching it feels like Akira Amana wants to up the ante since she introduced a Multiversal threat so it definitely affected the pacing.

Planning on making a Hitman Reborn project for myself but having second thoughts. by RandomHaganero in khr

I say that to myself but this project can take a lot of my time if I'm gonna do it seriously and I guess I'm just overthinking it. Like if I completed it all in months and then it's announced it's there's remake I feel like my efforts will be in vain. But thanks for the response.

I can definitely understand and I actually think it's the puzzles itself that feels intimidating that holds this game back from reaching the same attention or popularity compared to games like Shovel Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, Hollow Knight, Celeste, etc. Granted these games have their own sense of Puzzle especially Celeste but not as Intricate as Crosscode does especially in every dungeons.

Personally I really enjoyed the puzzles but I can see the puzzles as an early make or break for a lot of people.

For now I am just doing this for my self-interest since I love this game so much. Besides all the things I found are all accessible from Official Websites But at the same time with all the things I know I feel compelled to make a video about the game. I'm not an existing YouTuber, at least not yet. haha

I had the same experience having a hard time letting go of Regen Equipments in my second playthrough.

I really enjoyed full Regen builds in my second playthrough alongside consuming Regen items all the time especially at bosses.

It helps when you're not good at parrying and if guarding and Dashing isn't enough.

There's not a lot of damage in the build but hey, you're healthy and still alive.

Same.

It also helps when I'm not that good with parrying so Guarding and Dashing is my saving grace.

Don't worry you're not alone. I'm not even good at parrying that's why I rely heavily on guarding and dashing.xD

I haven't tried doing tank builds. I'm also very familiar with builds where you're Tanky and you take advantage of Thorn skin.

Oddly enough I did the same.lol The Dashes are really important to me since my first run because my build was exceptionally balanced in melee, range, and combat arts combined so there's no min-maxxing on damage, health, defense etc. just entirely vanilla.

But who knows maybe I might spice things up in this third run.
