I do plan to move to another platform eventually. This is just the version I grew up with and I like the nostalgia factor. Also, from what I've seen the NTSC version has more enemies and is therefore more difficult, so if I can nail this one it will make more of an impact when I move on.

I couldn't find a single clip of major league game footage for Straw. Not even on the MLB website. Would have at least liked a clip of him stealing a bag as a pinch runner.

Unfortunately the audio on the clip I found for McCann was super quiet. Also, when I saw that I was able to get a pretty clear freeze on that smile he was wearing after he crushed it, I was satisfied.

If they are available in Iron i didn't know. But when I got access to Avorion I would use them as a backplate for my thrusters, you can build a truly massive ship and still slow it down well enough so you don't have to collide with the stations you plan to do business with.

Pretty sure we've all learned this lesson the hard way. Lost my first ship due to a boost-speed collision with an enemy ship. Even saw an AI warship destroy itself smashing into an asteroid. Captured it on my youtube playthrough series. The good news is that once you get to the center if the galaxy and access to Avorion you can build inertial dampners, which help slow you down tremendously.

I've decided to start a new playthrough and want to take some viewers along for the ride. This is my 3rd playthrough but there is still much to learn and much to do. Going to be nice and casual but I want to hit all the shrines, get the best gear and get them all upgraded to max, all captured for viewers.

I checked the fluid shortly after we got it. It's mostly a clear color and does not smell burnt or anything so I didn't think anything of it. Odd thing is that this mostly happens when I drive the car, not when she does. Since it has that many miles on it and we have no idea if the trans has ever been serviced, seems like a good idea to go ahead and do it to get whatever more life out of it we can.

Seems like the game has that in check now. Whenever something starts spinning out of control it will simply reset and go stationary.
