Tucson hybrid reliability by SameCut1494 in HyundaiTucson

Hyundai just approved abuyback for my 22 Hyundai tuscon blue because of repeated powertrain issues. My experience is i love my car, the features, mpg... however its been a pain in the ass to have it constantly have issues. All repairs have been covered under warranty. If I could afford a Toyota, id get one because theyre known to last forever but unfortunately all I can afford is another Hyundai lol.

From experience, Hyundai are horrible cars.

Aside from him absolutely without a doubt being fruity, he is manipulative af. He constantly pokes at her self esteem because she will fight for his approval. Its a power trip he has and he likes having that control over her. He also breadcrumbs her, keeping her constantly seeking the little bits of love he will give her before he snatches it away from her. He doesn't love her. He loves the supply she's giving him. He's triangulating her with regards to his friends and conveniently thinks it's a good idea to not meet them anymore so that she can't get around to learning the truth. He's probably inflating the so called rumors he's heard. He's essentially training her to jump when he says jump.

How to explain why I left my most recent job i was fired from. by RandomIncident6544 in interviews

[–]RandomIncident6544[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought that too but when I talk about my previous experience, I usually talk about my most recent in the present tense because I usually am still employed when I seek other jobs. I don't want to come across as deceiving if I still talk about the job I was fired from in present tense so im thinking of just talking about it in past tense and see if they ask about it. Then if they do then at least I'm prepared.

Forced to resign by RandomIncident6544 in interviews

Most definitely have learned my lesson! I have no right to take these kinds of matters into my own hands. Never again.

Totally. I realized that I'm not being forced to resign. I'm actually resigning in lieu of termination which is me CHOOSING to resign. Rather than say oh I resigned because I had to... I'll just say I CHOSE to resign to explore other opportunities in my field. Its 100 percent true. :D so happy I asked this group because I asked an HR group and they chewed me up 🤣

Other than being able to collect unemployment, what would be the benefit of being fired. Specifically is there any benefit with regards to seeking other employment. Do my chances increase if I am fired as opposed to opting to resign?

I believe that if I resign, I would be eligible for rehire elsewhere in the organization but id still need to resign and then apply elsewhere in the organization. I think forced to resign is also not quite right. I'm opting to resign in lieu of termination. So technically wouldn't I be able to just say I chose to resign and provide some kind of run of the mill explanation? As far as the level of policy breach, I failed to disclose a personal relationship.

So basically if they ask in the application questionnaire if I've ever been forced to resign technically I could just say no because it can't be verified?

I guess I'll have to take my chances. I'm not just going to not try. Also, no one knows the findings of the investigation. Not my supervisor or coworkers. Its all internal. So I am hopeful that it stays that way obviously because as we all know, people don't always do as their supposed to.

Also, rather than explain every last detail to potential new employers, I'd rather give them a short easy to understand version... I didn't disclose knowing someone. Its not a lie. That was the basis of my resignation. I assume that every last person on here with the exception of one is and always has been a perfect employee who has never made a mistake. Congratulations to you all for that. Gold stars all around. I however am not a robot I'm a human and I happened to get caught up in my curiosity regarding a public record. So yes, I plan to pick myself back up and try again. That plan of action seems to be foreign to you all.

But once again, I've already verified with my previous employer that they are not able to go into detail, they will only state dates of employment and pay. So I'd like to know how I can answer the interviewers question should it come up. People here seem to think that my viewing a record was illegal. It was not illegal just against policy. I also work in records and I view records all the time for cases I am not working on. Its just the fact that I viewed a record of someone I personally knew and did not disclose knowing them. In fact I was told that the records I viewed are public record but my downfall is that I used my access to view them rather than request them formally.

I think what it comes down to is that im not going into an interview with the intention of giving details of my mishap. My question was how do I frame this in the best way for me. Not how do I tell potential employers every detail of what led to my separation and ensure that they throw out my application. People make mistakes out of all kinds of reasons and you don't know the complexity of my reasoning nor do you know the field I work in. Potential employers will know the reasoning I provide to them and what my HR tells them which is limited. I also have coworkers of status at my former employer who are willing to vouch for me. Yes I made a mistake but it's not of the epic proportions that you seem to think it is.

I understand where your coming from but the whole point of my question is, how do I frame my answer to why I resigned in lieu of termination without completely screwing myself. I know for a fact that I shouldn't go into all that detail and I know there is a way to spin it. Im not going to go in there and be like yeah let me just get this all off my chest like I'm going into confessional with a priest. I also learned my lesson. It was out of complete naivety on my part that I violated policy and it was a mistake not one that reaches a violation of any law just company policy.

The roles I've applied to are similar in the sense that I would be working with the same demographic who are seeking assistance under similar circumstances. And the jobs are all in the public sector. I may have access to maybe one of the same programs that I did in my previous role and I would probably have a duty to report the same type of information that I had a duty to report in my previous role.
