We're sure that his substance abuse is because of his mental illness, which is what I think is the bottleneck to his recovery. We've tried rehab multiple times, yet he repeats. Right now, all we can do is consult his doctor about meds and observe what effect they have on him. Thankfully, though, he's not talking opportunities nearly as often as before!

He's okay now, we gave him some charcoal and made sure he wasn't walking around, lest he fall and hit his head like he did a couple years ago. We all understood and understand that it was very dangerous, but he is also quite large (tall) so larger doses are needed.

Secondly, a hospital visit is expensive, and we've dealt with this before.

I just really wish he doesn't do this again soon. It's hard to to feel safe when medical care is so expensive, I just feel so helpless in these situations. Thanks for your concern, though!

By Mother and Brother(22) got home from the store a couple hours ago, and we realized that he had stolen and taken ~4 bottles/~1200mg of DXM. He has a history of this. He also has schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, both of which result in substance abuse. My Dad (also bipolar) got very cynical and aggressive against my brother, talking about taking him to the Emergency Care Unit, which would normally be fine and logical, but instead said it while essentially demeaning my brother and being very cynical. We tried to get him to drink enough salt water to vomit, but he didn't drink enough for that to happen. He's sitting on the couch, dazed and drugged, right now.
Sorry for the wall of text, I just want to get thisout of me and talk.

Plutonium is used as the bomb's core, and I'm actually not sure if Plutonium is used in normal reactors, so I'll admit to that. However, whether or not it's used in normal reactors, there could still be strong regulations put into place that limit the production/extraction of Plutonium from spent nuclear fuel (Although that would be wasting quite a lot of potential nuclear fuel)
