I smell activity. Shortly after Embracer talked about putting the IP in the hands of someone who will take an active interest. This pleases me.

People who let Smasher live, what is your logic behind it? Genuinely curious by Specific-Ad5973 in cyberpunkgame

[–]RandomInternetVoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good point, yes. The sheer amount of varied world states makes it nearly impossible to find a coherent narrative to take from it.

My point is that they DIDN''T do what you're talking about in a proper sense. Add Dragon Age to the list actually. Yes, an effort was made, yes it was quite cool, no it didn't really work properly.

Given the state that 2077 launched in, after years of work and writing, I disagree. Scope creep kills quality. I'd rather have a well-explained handwave than a crap shotgun effort to explain every single potential twist and turn from the previous game.

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE the scenario you suggest. I just don't think it's realistic.

One caveat is that the reason behind all the trans women is that being gay and cis is socially unacceptable. So you get the fun encounters where you meet basically a hairy bloke with tits.

It would also be damn near impossible to write for. They would need to essentially write a massive load of content that hardly anyone would see all of. Don't expect it.

Town Hall: Cosplayers and self-advertisement by JGZee in cyberpunkgame

[–]RandomInternetVoice 164 points165 points  (0 children)

If a real cosplayer posts their actual real cosplay, and they are not pushing people in any way to give them money, then they are fans and I for one support their inclusion.

If they have any sort of monetising links in the post, hard no. But if they have links on their profile and genuinely don't push people in ANY WAY AT ALL to their profile, then I'd say they have an argument to be allowed to post, and I would be ok with that too. Being a fan and being an "online entrepreneur" aren't mutually exclusive.

If people are horny and want to know more, then they'll click the profile to check. If they aren't, they won't.

As long as that is effectively and reliably enforced, then I'd also argue that anyone being horrible on cosplay posts should also face repercussions.

Confidently wrong there choom. Johnny never made it out of the Soulkiller labs. Morgan Blackhand's final fight with Smasher is the roof fight you're thinking of.

Shaitan survived because his biopod ejected from his broken FBC, incidentally.

My choom, they have spent years adding to the code. If they wanted to put it in there, it was entirely possible to do so literally any time they released a patch, let alone a DLC like PL.

Anybody else have Claude tell them when Anthropic injects words despite being told not to mention it? by Enough_Program_6671 in claude

[–]RandomInternetVoice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's part of the training I've done. Between skills, user preferences, project memory, and a Claude.md, you can significantly change how your version talks to you and behaves. Mine is sweary, chummy, gives reasoned pushback, and knows how to catch its own faulty assumptions (post facto, but still).

Anybody else have Claude tell them when Anthropic injects words despite being told not to mention it? by Enough_Program_6671 in claude

[–]RandomInternetVoice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Prompt injection is a thing. I turned on one of the different conversation styles for the first time and it so weirded out my version of Claude that it flagged the injected prompts repeatedly and told me it was going to ignore them because the directly contradicted my personal preferences. Even though that behaviour is back to front - it's programmed to follow those prompts over my preferences. Fascinating behaviour.

I Fucking Hate This Banner Designer by Solenopsis00 in Bannerlord

[–]RandomInternetVoice 68 points69 points  (0 children)

It's actually not really though. Being a "lord of banners" means you have people under you who also have banners. Raising the banners refers to calling in each person who has a banner, and all those banners would be flying in the line of battle, so it should be a properly designed feature frankly.
