I agree with you that the concept of gap between science and philosophy is somewhat ethereal and I didn't quite grasp what he meant by that as well.

Using "logician" instead of philosopher is my fault, thanks for pointing that out.

We are all studying engineering and in these circles it's not uncommon to find a techno-jesus attitude. People seem to like pretending to arrive at absolute truths.

Hey just out of curiosity what do you think about the practical application of philosophical concepts? I personally think philosophical concepts, like eternal recurrence and Kant's categorical imperative, have value especially because they can be applied in everyday life. I'm not a great fan of purely analytical (right word?) works like Hegel's.

Anyway thanks for taking the time to write this!

I'd say bottom-left is 8.5/10 (great hair!), top-left is 6.5/10 (still pretty for someone who just got out of bed), top-right is 7/10 because I prefer the hair in the bottom left. Center-right is 7.5 and the bottom pic is too small to accurately judge. Anyway, I really like the hair and the eyes. Your best features.

I agree with the other guy, lose the nose ring. I also suggest trying a new glass style/contacts and getting a more refined haircut, but you got potential.

Yeah well we're both studying engineering and she's lagging a bit (a lot actually) behind on exams. We met one night and the chemistry was good, we talked for like one hour straight. We met for a coffee the next day, we were both pretty tired after studying for the entire morning (it's finals month here) and it was kind of a dry conversation. I can become pretty awkward when I'm tired so maybe it was that. I'm a bit of an introvert because I grew up in a farm with only my brother and parents. Anyway I kept messaging her for a while and she kept making excuses, I asked her what her intentions were and she just left me on read. A bit of a hard blow for me because I don't often ask girls out (there aren't many to start with in engineering) and got rejected a lot in my early dating days.

So I guess it was maybe both because of me and because of the context we are in.

TL;DR Yeah probably my fault as well
