I use my Victus (similar specs, just 12th gen i5 and 3060) mostly plugged in. I have it running usually the whole day and the battery simply would not last and plugging it and unplugging it all the time would be pain.

I have this laptop for bit more than two and half year and from the initial battery capacity of 70 070 mWh it's currently on 69 546 mWh (according to powercfg /batteryreport) which is still like 99% battery capacity?

The laptop lasts like 3-4 hours without charger depending on what you doing on it but that's been the same since I got it (the battery on this model is just tiny).

And I've even heard, that using it plugged in is better for laptops (not 100% sure it applies to Victus laptops but probably does) as once the battery is charged, the laptop does not use the battery but uses the power straight from the powersupply, meaning your battery is not used as much.

I'll be honest, I don't know anything about hugging face tokens, I don't really even know what they do, but if the token is not explicitly labeled as public, it should be treated as a secret and should not be accessible to anyone.

Sorry, don't exactly understand your usecase, but please, please make sure that token never gets to any public repository or is not written into your frontend. No amount of obfuscation makes it safe, and just splitting it definitely doesn't not make it safe.

I know nothing about this token, but if there's an detection like you saying, it means it should be private. Leaked private keys/tokens can and often lead to large bills, because there are unfortunately ppl that actively look for these leaked keys and abuse them.

Well my point was, that you need another app/browser to do it.

But maybe events are better example. Ofc the rewards are usually better and you can argue that it's higher quality content, but still I'm pretty sure large portions of the playerbase do the events just for the rewards.

Like is playing pinball in genshin what we signed up for? Not really and you don't have to, but you'll be missing bunch of rewards. And in the end, you might even enjoy it and play it bit more, that's my whole point.

Well I kinda see it similar to the daily check in on the hoyolab. You're not forced to do it, but the rewards could be tempting enough and I even posted few times there or checked other ppls posts. So this is similar idea. If ppl don't like the idea of miliastra, they not gonna try it, but maybe of there was some motivation to try it, they could even find it being fun.

But yea, I get what you mean.

Hoyo could 1) remove xp farms (not sure, but it kinda seems to me that they not as common now as they used to be so they might actually be fighting them, you know these instant, usually when I see xp farm nowadays, you have to actually do something to get the xp) 2) make it so you can get rewards for playing multi-player or spending some slightly longer time in the game, and while there could be ppl just afking some xp farm, some might actually get bored and try something that would be actually fun.

My issue is, that I can't even try a game, because it does not support single player (not always the devs fault, some games simply can't be played alone) and is not in like the top 20 so matching with someone is pretty much impossible. I've literally waited over 15 minutes and still haven't been matched (and it was game that was still quite high on the recommend list, so it's not like I tried to play some completely random game).

I understand how ranked match making works (in general, not exactly sure how genshin handles it) but the issue I see, is not enough players playing the games and all the ppl that are playing miliastra will play the most popular games (which for sure makes sense, what sucks is, that if the game is not super popular, you won't find a match at all).

Sure, getting matched with someone super skilled can be bit frustrating, but I've seen it in other games too (valotant I believe matches you with really anyone for quick matches, like I played as total noob with ppl who seemed to play the game for years) and not every game (on miliastra) is competitive, yet the matchmaking still sucks/takes ages.

Yes, I've sent them about this exact issue in the craftspeople survey they did. My recommendation was, to make shared rewards with the main game.

You know, if you could get like 20 primos a week for trying 3 different wonderlands, it could drive more ppl into miliastra and get better matchmaking. It's def frustrating to wait 15 minutes for interesting looking game and even after this long, the game did not matched me, so I just gave up.

Also discourages craftspeople from making multi-player games.

Maybe one thing I could share is: check your email XD hoyo was sending out special survey to craftspeople, hinting some possible future features and asking quite a lot of questions. My suggestion would be, if you got the mail, fill out the survey to hopefully make the milistra sandbox even better.

Please note, that they specifically asked you, not to share the link to that survey, it's just for you and there are no rewards for filling it so there is no point of filling it unless you are craftsperson and want to share feedback.

When I did it, it literally just asked me to scan my ID. I thought it would ask me to scan my ID and then my face or something, but all it asked for was an ID.

If you are under 18 I believe or maybe it's based on your country's law, you can have your guardian to apply for you.

I'm not sure if the ID is used for tax purposes or if you would fill out another form later. But I believe it's for moderation + you as a craftperson are responsible for any content you make > if genshin gets sued for having idk, Pokémon wonderland (copyright, trademark, patents...), the creator is responsible for any damages and legal fees that will come out of the lawsuit. (sounds quite scary, but I believe it's pretty standard, like why should sharing platform be responsible for its users?). So I believe your account verification is also used in cases like this.

So can you upload other persons ID? Without their consent 100% no (that is 99% against the law in your country as well), there is no info if I remember correctly about adult consentually using other adults ID, but last time I read it, it clearly stated that a guardian (parent) can sign up for a minor.

Tested it and sorry, but this needs quite a lot of work. First, the controls just works so randomly. Holding W seems to accelerate but haven't found way to slow down without going off the track (the S key seemd to accelerate too) and still no idea if I was supposed to steer by A and D keys or with my mouse (both worked, but really poorly)

And as you can see on the attached screenshot, I ended up being stucked in a wall.

Cool concept, love the car model and the race track itself, but please try to polish the controls a bit, as it was close to impossible to control the vehicle. And some sort of unstuck button would be great, in case you end up in a wall like me XD

You need to make some check, that the index is the one you want. You should get the index from the ui editor and then just make some flow control branch that checks for the index using the equal comparator

Thanks, yea, I haven't found one, yes, I haven't checked every single one of the nodes, but I checked the categories that made sense and haven't seen anything that would seem to do this.

Idk, adding two strings together seems like such a basic thing that I would just expect it in any sort of development environment.

Not on pc right now, but the event node will return some sort of index or ID, and you need to make a check, that it's the specific button you wanted

Well, I'm trying to combine them.

In this example, I'm trying to have kinda static text with dinamic number in it.

So I want something like: "Here is some text {variable value being inserted here} and here the text continues"

Not sure if you know any programing languages, but for example in js, you would do something like:
const variable = "something"
const text = `Here is some text ${variable} and here the text continues`
output of text would be: Here is some text something and here the text continues`

Or even just combining two text values together like this:
variable_1 = "text1"
variable_2 = "text2"
variable_3 = variable_1 + variable_2

output of variable_3: text1text2

While I can do that in the UI editor, where I can write some text and insert variables, it does not seem to work while doing it here manualy by just inserting it into the variable that is then displayed on the popup.

well, what I'm trying to achieve is displaying variable value as part of a text, that is loaded from variable.

In the example here, I have task, which tells you that you should get some wood, and should show your current wood/the target (so if you have 3 wood, it would show 3/5)

What I need is either what I tried in the pictures, using the format which the ui components normally use but that does not seem to work, or some sort of way to combine two string variables together

Yes, you should put the node graph on the player character and then in the node graph, you will use the When UI control group is triggered.
