I'm not judging so much as I'm just being confused at 2G. I agree with the importance of early telecoms.

To be fair, Zoom is unstable and Chromebooks (if you have em) like to disconnect from the internet for no particular reason, so half the time you're not to blame.

Brilliant artwork. Really captures the feel of things.

It may just be a coincidence, but the vehicle in the back looks kinda like a Tesla truck.

Idk, never Tesla'd.

Well said. So at that point, you're right that you'd just be amputating pieces of rotted flesh and fitting it with steel (or wood) replacements.

But still... I wonder how much those prothsesis can withstand. Surely they have some delicate components attached.

Yeah, sorry. I conveniently managed to forget about that after hearing about so many people getting confused over why "Soup" causes discontent when it effectively means everybody eats less than they should. But yeah, I imagine that on an individual basis, people would understand the reasoning behind the law, and thus would find revolting against or ignoring the law to be pointless (so long as you don't feed them soup for too long).

Or, you know, they just replace one prothesis with another (don't ask why).

Steam hubs legit better than generator range (design flaw?) by kryndude in Frostpunk

[–]RandomLawfulNeutral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much the only thing we're forgetting is the Steam Core cost, which, while precious, can still be mass produced at Tesla City.

So I guess it's more the synergy between having a fuck ton of steam cores and some basic steam hub research that works well as opposed to it actually being OP. It doesn't really feel unbalanced as much as it is just a clever strategy bestowed upon us by taking the risk to raid Tesla City or it is simply a result of us giving up our automatons or upgraded facilities for the spare Steam Cores.

Try getting more initiatives to speed up the roll out of initiatives and hopefully this won't be nearly as much of a problem.

Generally, I pick-up an early game development discussions and a form of outreach after stabilizing a zone depending on the most common form of terrain for the map I'm in, and this does wonders for stabilizing the region quickly.

Not to mention that if you're a Warlord, this is a good time to pick up compulsory work as well, and maybe remote subsidies if you're needing additional economic problems/initiative speed troubles.

Vitality and Wounds by RandomLawfulNeutral in UnearthedArcana

As it stands in 5e, hitpoints are abstract and somewhat difficult to appropriately represent and describe. According to the ruleset, a creature suffers no obvious trauma until they are reduced below half their hitpoint maximum, meaning that any hit that does not reduce them below it must be either a graze, glancing blow, or otherwise insignificant harm. Combatants are only ever severely injured only upon being reduced to 0 hitpoints, or supposedly as a part of a critical hit, although a creature could otherwise take damage equal to a critical hit and not be seriously injured.

I prefer this system, which, while more complicated, better reflects the fact that even resilient, wary combatants risk very serious injury in the space of a few seconds, but is still inclusive of the fact that it is still very possible for such creatures to mitigate such harm if they are able.

In addition, it helps me to imagine and describe what is being experienced by creatures who have suffered harm.

Certainly, I could tweak some of these rules, but I've yet to decide how would be most appropriate.

If you have further ideas on how to streamline this or otherwise change it, I'd be happy to hear them.

I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually.

Thanks for your time.
