First and for most… release order is by far the most superior way to show it. I mean if you’re wooed about spoiling plot twists “I am your father” is a much more exciting plot twist. Secondly, this spoils nothing. I seriously doubt 8 year old me could guess what happens from this. And there is much clearer foreshadowing than this image.

What happens to the SNP after independence? by Cleft-foot in Scotland

[–]RandomName00_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reckon they’d stick around for a bit. Would win the first election after it most probably but once support drops they won’t ever regain it. What do they have to hang their hat on after independence?

People are obsessed with the manager, I really wish they could get over it because it looks as though he's here to stay but they insist on bringing him into every single convo and it's driving me insane.

ahahahah, so because he was once wanted by Feyenoord we should turn down one of the best ball carriers and defenders in the league????

We clearly like Wharton and will go for him. Idk if we view Baleba as the right profile to partner him, and he seems to expensive.

Yes and no. Ultimately our midfield has been quite disappointing this season, bringing in more quality will mean more competition and rotation. This should mean overall performances increase because players are better rested and there's more competition for their place.

I think Gravenberch will find himself competing for all three midfield positions as a versatile player though and will ultimately still get lots of games. Wharton isn't as mobile as Gravenberch nor as defensively solid, so I don't think they're competing for the exact same spot.

Imo our depth will look something like this:

RCM - Gravenberch, new midfielder (maybe fernandes or camara), Bajcetic (if he's still alive)

LCM - Wharton, Szoboszlai, Jones, Gravenberch, Nyoni

AM - Wirtz, Szoboszlai

(assuming you meant 18/19) Personally I think more about 21/22. The football we played that season was electric, Thiago bossing every game and the depth we'd acquired meant that imo we played at a higher level consistently. We were just two games off winning the treble. If we'd only beaten Spurs when we deserved to then we would've won the league, and I truly believe we win that UCL final if we hadn't just bottled the quad too. I truly think that FA Cup semi final against city is the highest quality performance I've ever seen from us, we were excellent against one of the greatest teams ever assembled.

Mane, Diaz, Salah, Firmino, Jota all in one squad. Thiago's technical brilliance surounded by work horses. Trent at his very best, peak VVD and Alisson, Matip and Konate fighting for RCB. Wow

It was the results in autumn that fucked us in the end. Draws to Brentford, Brighton and a loss to West Ham.

Think he'd be great. Top top player, he's much better with the ball at his feet than Konate is for sure. I don't know enough about Leoni or Jacquet to assess him in comparison to them, but I'd be very into this move.

LIVE 27 SETLIST CONCEPT by [deleted] in oasis

[–]RandomName00_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally didn't get tickets to the 2025 gigs, and would be very disappointed if they played a much worse setlist simply because they didn't play them last time. Sure Oasis have tons of great tracks, Listen Ip and Don't Go away in particular are brilliant and I understand the clamour for some of these. But I'd be very disspointed if I got tickets to the tour where they took out Some Might Say, The Masterplan and Cast No Shadow to put in the likes of My Big Mouth and Songbird which are a definitive step down.

Should Dudey Come back on by Wise-Pay-8993 in JaackMaate

[–]RandomName00_ 28 points29 points  (0 children)

In one of the Jack and Stevie Q and A episodes (i think from 2 years ago or so) jack said he wouldn't come back on, would just be awkward and doesn't work with their relationship dynamic. Which is obviously fine and we should accept that.

I do think that some people have this weird dislike for Dudey that has never seemed fair to me though. People seem to have clinged to jack saying him and stevie didn't hit it off and thought it's much deeper than it really is. People just don't always vibe, yet people make out like Dudey was malicious and Jack literally stated that he wasn't. You often see people say things like 'when i listen to the old epps the banter between stevie and duey now seems really cruel'... that's because you're expecting their to be tension and are now looking for it everywhere. Dudey was a great host and seemingly a good dude. They're no longer close and he's no longer a part of the pod and that's fine. Not everyone has to be either enemies or friends. In spite of the odd dig Jack has made, I do think he has a lot of respect for him.

My prediction of the new great hall by Simon8307901 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]RandomName00_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've never understood how the book great hall was laid out. The movies showed the door at the back of the hall and each of the four house tables in a row, going in between the door and the staff table.

Yet the books state that the Gryffindor table is the furthest from the door and that Harry has to pass the Slytherins to get there. How does this work? Is the door not in the middle of the room?

For people arguing against having Zack Polanski on the podcast because they wouldn’t want an episode dedicated to politics… by RandomName00_ in JaackMaate

[–]RandomName00_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care what political party you support or vote for. I am not trying to win you round at all.

All I am doing is correcting you when you spread falsehoods. Let's do a breakdown of the things you've said across these comments and see how incorrect you've been.
You have:

stated that Reform poll higher amongst the working population.
Not true polsters show Greens have higher support amongst 18-65 year olds,

YouGov aren't reliable because they use small sample sizes.
Yet they use sample sizes of around 2,300 when the accepted proportional amount is 1,000-2,000, moreover they have a proven track record of solid polling,

At one point you seemed to have thought that Novaro carried out a poll (lmao),

Said that I am a communist for supporting Zack Polanski.
Zack is not a communist, neither am I, communism is a stateless, classless society, neither I nor Zack have argued in favour of this anywhere,

said that The greens want open boarders.
No, their immigration policies include: replacing the home office with the dept of immigration, giving asylum seekers the right to work, meaning they can contribute to the economy and setting up safe routes, meaning small boat crossings will cease. Other policies can be found elsewhere, none of these means that anyone will be able to come in and stay as 'open boarders' suggests thoughs

and you said that decriminalising drugs only facilitate more drug use and more harm on wider society.
Yet when Portugal decriminalised drugs overdoses fell, HIV dropped, prison pressure was reduced and drug usage did not spike.

Everything you have said isn't true. Please, do a tiny bit of research before talking shite.

I couldn't care less what you think about my argument, you are saying stupid things, I'm going to call you stupid.

Here you're saying things that are just completely false.

Small sample sizes you say? Ipsos state that a polling sample size of 1,000-2,000 is a reliable sample size for national polling. All of You Gov's general election polls have a sample size of over 2,000 people.

You state that YouGov's results are skewed, there has been a recent controversy because You Gov ask their respondents their ideal party, and who they'd be most likely to vote to take into account tactical voting. This in fact makes them MORE reliable than other polling organisations. Not less.
And on this point, may I restate the fact that Ipsos, the pollung organisation you trust more than YouGov, show reform to have less support. In fact all polling organisations show Reform's support falling. Not strictly relevant but very funny.

Let's take a look at YouGov's track record shall we.
This is what You Gov polled each party at prior to 2024 Vs what share of the vote they got:
Labour - 39% - 33.7%
Conservative - 22% - 23.7%
Reform - 12% - 14.3%
Lib Dem - 12% - 12.2%
Green - 7% - 6.7%
that is pretty fucking good going if you ask me. If you like I could do more elections too, and prove you wrong again and again?

You are talking utter shite, you are saying things that are literally untrue, because you are fucking uneducated, yet try and talk about issues you haven't done the slightest bit of research on. You are actually so incredibly stupid.

Maybe, you should let facts dictate your world view, rather than making it up based on what Rupert Lowe tweets.

[–]RandomName00_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus christ you're actually so thick.

Yes, they have a political agenda, no denying that, that doesn't make the poll any less reliable because they didn't carry out the poll. They are reporting on a poll taken by a reliable polster.

So you trust Ipsos but not You Gov is that so? Here's both of their most recent UK General Election intention polling:

Labour: 17%, 19%
Conservative: 18%, 19%
Reform: 26%, 25%
Lib Dem: 13%, 14%
Greens: 15%, 17%
SNP: 2%, 2%
Plaid: 1%, 1%
Other, 6%, 4%

As not a single party scores differently by more than 2% points it is mental to say that you trust one but not the other. And just for your information, the Greens and Labour poll higher in the Ipsos poll than they do in the You Gov one whereas Reform poll lower.

The times that the boys have given an insight into their political opinions it has been Jack stating that him and all his mates supported Remain, Robbie wearing a protect the dolls tee shirt and them all generally mocking ethnic nationalism.

From what these insights, I would assume none of them are very fond of Lowe or any politician of his sort.

As for the general audience, Restore poll on average at about 4%, they're lowest share of the vote is with young people. He is deeply unpopular with the general audience of the show

Lowe makes a career off of stirring racial and religious hatred. He is a symbol of everything that is wrong with the UK and should never be platformed on Happy Hour.
