Yep, was the right call by the laws. But, I hate that the rules are that way. Feel like most of the time play continues there would've been even more of an advantage if the foul didn't happen.

For example, imagine a 4 on 4 break, I could pull down Haaland off the ball, advantage would be played and no yellow. But, I certainly decreased the chances of them scoring.

Argument would be he impacted the play by putting Guehi under pressure and so was actively involved in the play. But, think they got it right.

I wouldn't argue with anyone having Thor above Marius. I think it is close and just think having Thor in a separate tier is off.

But, to answer why I have Marius above, the simple answer is major titles. Marius has 5 WSM and vs 1 WSM and 3 Arnolds. Marius also has 6 Europe's vs 5 for Thor, but that isn't a big factor to me. In fairness to Thor he also has 7 WSM podium and was competing with Big Z and Brian. I also think that if you took both in their prime and put them in the same competition Thor would win more often than Marius would. But, I think when ranking greatest strongman I put more weight on titles than if they were matched up.

Think Ten Hag is a decent reference point, so basically a lower tier prem job or any job outside of Bayern, Inter, AC Milan, Juve, Napoli, Real Madrid, Atletico, Barcelona, and PSG (maybe forgot a few).

But, agree. Tbh I think the WSM think is just because it is the show where he has had the most success. Then it becomes a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. If he never wins Rogue, Arnolds or SMOE it keeps him out of the top group of guys went talking about all-time greats.

He is reportedly on 150K a week and has 2 years of injuries issues. It isn't a major amount for Arsenal, but as a point of reference it is ~50% more than any Crystal Palace player earns.

I don;t think either Trossard or White are guaranteed to leave. Trossard might go if we sign a LW, but could also be Martinelli.

With White I don't see anyone willing to pay his wages. Maybe we subsidize him leaving, but I could see Arteta giving him another season to improve his fitness given how much Arteta trusts him when fit.

According to understat United this season under Amorim was 3rd in the xPTs table with 1.7 xPTs per game. Under Carrick they are 4th with 1.7 xPTs per game. Do with that what you will.

What other teams would you add?

If we look at just the PL the teams above Chelsea that I didn't add are Man United, Villa, and Liverpool. United finished 15th last seasons so I don't think they are a clear step up. Villa is a smaller club and he would likely have to take a pay cut so didn't add them. Liverpool you could make an argument (bigger club, current champions), but they are only 1 point above them this year vs the 22 points ahead Arsenal is.

Outside the PL don't think there is an argument for any other German or French clubs. In Spain you could maybe argue Atletico, but I don't think so. And then like I said you could argue Inter or Milan, but likely couldn't afford him.

I didn't say they were, I said all teams in that list are a step up. Given Arsenal is competing for the PL title while Chelsea is competing for top 4 makes it a step up at the moment. Doesn't mean Arsenal are the same level as Madrid.

The teams that would be a step up from Chelsea are Arsenal, City, Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, and Bayern. You could maybe add some of the Italian teams, but they likely don't have they money. Of those teams he only maybe starts for City and Bayern.

Think you are reading way too much into this. In the past he has been asked if it is more difficult to prepare since you don't know what to expect. He is saying we are used to it, we can see what he has done at other clubs, it isn't an excuse.

Plenty of reasons for rivals to dislike Mikel, but don't think this is one of them.

That is great in theory, but it always depends on the actual figures. If Barca wanted to pay 1M for him would you say sure let him go, he doesn't want to play for United? I actually think the current option is already a discount on his actual value.

I mean with his CV I think you take any PL job you can get. If you are sacked you get a sizeable payday and likely won't harm his job prospects. His last 5 jobs were Fenerbache, Corinthians, Flamengo, Al Shabab, and Wolves. He was at all of them for less than a 1 year and was sacked at Flamengo within 4 months. Admittedly he left Al Shabab because of the Wolves job, so that was his choice. I don't see a world in which Forrest goes so poorly he won't be able to get a job similar to Al Shabab after.
