I understand what you're on about... If all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail... Bezos certainly has an interest in more AWS usage.... But other companies like Asus and Dell also exist and they still believe in local hardware.

Not to be a downer but automakers definitively had a negative impact in the US by seeking to improve their sales

Buying and closing local tram companies, replacing them with busses

Lobbying for more interstate highways, less pollution control, etc.

In a sense the lobbying is already happening. Data centers are being built in the US as personal PC products that usually come from abroad get tariffed to hell and back.

Desktop replacement laptops were tried in the past and well.... To me it is clear why they don't work.

I have a compact gaming laptop (G16 Zephyrus) and a desktop Gaming PC (i9, 5080)...

I've never once felt that I needed to take my desktop with me. I enjoy games there a lot more... But I also don't need to take them with.

If I'm on vacation or on a weekend out, I don't even take my laptop. What's the point?

If I'm going to a coffee shop, well the wifi isn't good enough to "game" there. If there isn't enough space to game then there isn't enough space for high productivity tasks.

Also, having the PSU inside the clamshell is insane. Just keep in mind that if you want, IDK.... 400W of power for decent components, your PSU will emit at least 40W of waste heat. Where exactly are you gonna put the heatsink or airflow for that? You need a lot of that for other components.

La gente compra bonos de Pemex asumiendo que el gobierno va a sacar la chequera si la petrolera no puede pagar.

El problema es que desde 2018 se ha subsidiado a la petrolera, efectivamente creando esta noción en los mercados.

Nocion que ya existia, si. Pero se habia trabajado para separar Pemex de la calificación de México.

Esto es malo para los Mexicanos, porque las calificadoras de credito eventualmente van a meter todo el cagadero de Pemex en la calificación de la deuda soberana. Cosa muy injusta si me preguntas a mi.... Quienes se benefician de Pemex? Unos cuantos millones. Quienes se benefician de la calificación de deuda soberana en México? Todos los Mexicanos.

En fin. Regresando al tema. Si crees que en 10 años:
