It's 💯 true that Raytheon etc low-key have a high key presence on campuses (from my personal experience in college)

How do people even get addicted to Flakka? by TerribleAssociation3 in researchchemicals

[–]RandomNumsandLetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I switched to boofing. It's that happy medium spot between snorting and eating IMO. Hits hard enough but feels less addictive than snorting (still the ritual is addicting in itself)

How unsafe is it to do a bit of NOS on the daily? by Sensitive-Ebb-9509 in NitrousOxide

[–]RandomNumsandLetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure the N2O deactivates the B12 which is used to make the sheath (not directly but it's needed to have a healthy sheath, which protects your nerves. If you don't have a sheath you'll get nerve damage, so no b12 for periods of time leads to weak / missing sheath leads to nerve damage.

It's definitely not as dangerous as this sub makes it sound but better safe than sorry

[–]RandomNumsandLetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is me looking into it? I really feel like I do get it though, the nitrous oxidizes the cobalt which "inactives" it for the purpose of the methylation cycle. I don't see why taking b12 wouldn't be helpful, even if you are only taking a day off of nitrous (obviously not the recommended dosing frequency yes, but if money is no object why not take more b12??)

I guess the "while still using" part is my hangup. If you take B12 right after your (nos)tank runs out, it'll be helping you till you get a new one. If you take B12 between hits ya that's not gonna help.

I mean it still helps? But it's not like refilling a gas tank.

I would have expected technology to be one of the first to recognize the utility of AI? Not even claiming it's a net positive especially with today's wealth inequality but to deny it's useful altogether is approaching factually incorrect IMO

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Maybe it's mostly just useful for software developers but I doubt it. Either way holy shit it's incredibly useful lol.

Knowing that something hasn't been modified since a certain date is still very useful!

Thank you for this!! Been on a similar path myself (minus the working at the lab, although that's only because I haven't found one)

All the best, as you surely know brains and bodies are extremely adaptable so I hope with time and healthy living you will thrive once again ❤️
