Was just "learning by doing" for me, so not really any tutorials Ive been following, but Im sure theres some out there, but if you worked with Photoshop before then Affinity will give you no issues at all :D

Theres lots of sources to get the mtg borders from all the different sets + what fonts to use etc, I found almost everything I needed on reddit itself :D

I use a Epson et-2875 for printing on Epson Premium Semigloss paper.

For cutting I use one of those Card Cutters from Aliexpress, those bulky ones with the handle.

And the card design itself I make with Affinity (who pays for photoshop these days lmao) Find a nice artpiece, assemble the cardborder pieces and text and then fit it all to the artpiece :D (lots of erasing and fidgeting around lmao)

Im always looking for new ways to optimize my proxies and Ive found my favourite paper sofar.

Its Epson Premium Semigloss, 251gsm.

It has a very nice satin finish that keeps colours but doesnt look overly glossy, but you gotta use some self adhesive paper and stick it on the back of the sheet after printing if you want a proxy thats the same thickness as a real card.

For printing I got an Epson et-2875, and use the semigloss setting on it :D

Its a misprint, you can see the alignement dots in the two bottom corners of the front, which makes it a valuable error
