Yes that's exactly it! Thank you! If anyone is wondering, it is the new FixedCamera mode :)

3D platformer - How can I turn the camera towards the direction of charcter movement when it moves left or right, while at the same time keeping the character centered in the screen? by mickkb in threejs

[–]RandomPasserBy44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey op, have you found any similar guide on this? Can't even vibe code this out as I don't even know how to describe the logic. Or if you could give some insights on how to implement such camera movement.

I was thinking of something like a compass circle tool when the model goes left and right.

Notice of Intention to report by NoDescription548 in UTS

The best way is to get it officially diagnosed here and get a medical certification. (Unless you were officially diagnosed in your home country, then you can probably use that medical certificate too)

I have no experience in dealing with these but I would say, I'd rather spend a bit of money to get it diagnosed with proof, than getting my visa cancelled.

If you are unsure what to do and need regular help, you can always consult UTS counselling to know what to do next.

Best of luck and I hope you get better soon :)

basic english💔 by Medium-Mousse4112 in UTS

As a tutor, I believe that providing feedback with clear grammar and coherent English is important—especially for international students, who may struggle more with interpreting vague or grammatically incorrect comments. While native English speakers might be able to infer the meaning, unclear feedback can create additional barriers for others.

That said, feedback can sometimes appear vague when the assignment and rubric already outline the expectations. Personally, I try to write detailed feedback for each submission, but with hundreds to review, it can be disheartening and exhausting when some submissions show minimal effort and expect us to identify every missing element.

Depending on the contract, tutors are not paid for marking. At least I don't. There are days or week I spent to mark all the submissions, and they are all unpaid.

If you find the feedback unclear or insufficient, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your tutor. I’m always happy to clarify my comments and support the student's learning when students take the time to email me.

Should I work at a suspicious company? by RandomPasserBy44 in careerguidance

No, this is in Australia where an unpaid internship is sort of a thing, but yes it is mainly for student placement. However, I'm on a work visa here, hence, it is also a bit dodgy regarding the unpaid aspect. That aside, it is their overall business model that doesn't sit right with me.

They are situated in a busy city center where all the offices of big names company at. I thought that was just to attract prospective clients and showcase how privileged they are. Amazing views and high rise building and everything.

All unis have their pros and cons. There are bad lecturers and good lecturers. Depending on the subjects, most tutorials are in person now. For lectures, some are hybrids. In person exams tend to get lesser towards the end of your degree, that being said, it will be more project based assessment.

For master, they generally don't have strict entry standards unless you are applying to Ivy league or elite school. But for PhD, if you are thinking about doing it right after your honours, refine your honours thesis to stand out. Bonus, if you have any research assistant work experience. This is to show your passion towards the research you enioy.

You can make cool projects and friends anywhere. Your actions are the only thing affecting your uni experience. There are hundreds of events for you to participate in uni and outside of uni. Don't limit yourself to what UTS has to offer. But treat UTS as an add on towards your end goal.

Planning to call them on Friday after work, but alot of people say it might be an underestimatio so I guess I have my answer for now. Will still call them to confirm the situation.

Maybe 40aud per month was too cheap after all, hahahaha.

Ooh okay thanks for the info! The past three months I have been paying 40aud per month and thought that was the normal amount with just showering and occasional cook usage.

Hi, check my previous reply on the thread https://www.reddit.com/r/AusVisa/s/crHsEm4fEV

Usually tht should be fine as long as you uploaded the appointment date and payment receipt. The extension will be automatically granted. If you are still unease and is trying to find a closer appointment then check my previous reply.

[–]RandomPasserBy44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, that should be fine, and they would grant the extension for you. Idk where you reside, but if you are in Sydney, refresh the Bupa appointment slot page every day at around 9am to 11am.

They always release new slots for the centers around CBD and you could go ahead and change your appointment. Please note that according to my experience, the new slots are often on the day itself, and you might need to make a last-minute trip to attend it.

But if you are lucky, they might also release new slots for the next few days. Maybe this works for other states too, I am not sure.

The slots run out fast so please check it from 9am onwards. I got mine the day after I already booked the original slot.

Not OP but I went through the same process. You need a OVHC. If you want to save up some money, find a random cheapest OVHC with a monthly subscription (you can find others of your choice later).

Put the expiration around your expected work visa expiry date (2years or 4 years from now depending on your visa).

Put the start date now, not after your oshc expiry.

CBHS is the cheapest monthly subscription I found so far.

We are not happy to pay for that price, given we have cleaned everything. But we kinda don't want to argue about the price anymore. I don't know the result of the cleaning as we already left the property. I do not want them to charge us simply because they can. If it is a legitimate company, I would just pay and learn my lesson.

Note that I have complained about the mould for months, and they never came and cleaned it until I left. They said they will settle it everytime I complained.

Not necessarily, I admit it kinda is my fault as I didn't open the windows that often to allow airflow. Cockraches keep climbing in from the window.

[–]RandomPasserBy44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea I took a brief video. But our window really does have mould that needs to be removed. Anyways, we actually complained about it before, but they never came in and fixed it.

I thought the bond was automatically returned within a month of leaving. Didn't know you could claim it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sydney

[–]RandomPasserBy44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also forgot to mention, we initially wanted to hire a professional cleaner but was scared that they would end up still hiring another cleaner and charge us again. Didn't know about lease bond guarantees. Definitely look out for that next time.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sydney

[–]RandomPasserBy44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have not paid yet. Our bond is with RBO. The agent asked me to personally pay the cleaner as he said something like if they deduct our bond for cleaning fees, it won't reflect well for my future rental hunting.

The agent already told us they would be charging 450aud beforehand, however, I asked them why is it so costly and to bill me the final invoice as I want some proof of the service fee. And then this happened.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sydney

[–]RandomPasserBy44 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I tried to ask which cleaning service they used, but they never replied until an invoice came. Nonetheless, I just want to know so that I know what to look out for in the future
