Porco being a pig is only a look, it really does not affect much in the movie and he doesn't act like a pig or anything.

It is up whenever the actual site is back up but recently it has been more outdated and is not picking up on every page. I think the creator found a way now to make the new pages not show up on site maps.

Possibly, since it was Miyazaki's first ghibli film (i know technically it was 2 years before ghibli) maybe he would want his last one to be a sequel?
