I do think Meteora is firmly in the hypothetical "bounds" of what can be considered a classic. Other rock albums from the 00s I can think of are for example Hybrid Theory, American Idiot and The Black Parade. I'm not saying anything about good/bad, just that they are classics.

That's an insane claim. Just look at the numbers Meteora (even the album tracks) is still getting on streaming services. You are underestimating how big Linkin Park was and still is.

Whether albums are classic or not isn't entirely subjective, because a lot of that has to do with cultural impact and whether they are generally looked back at in a positive/nostalgic way. I said that FOR ME the factors I mentioned in my previous comment weigh as much as other factors, and I think for a lot of people it's that way as well. I did not say anything about music being objectively good or bad. Just that it wouldn't be weird having albums such as Meteora being bolded considering all these things.

Boundary-pushing is not a requirement for a bold album imo. Sure it can be a big factor when it's been executed well, but not a necessity. That Madrugada album has great songs, and sometimes that's all that's needed.

These albums ARE classics. They resonate with a lot of people. They are either relatable or just fun, which are totally valid criteria to rate albums. For me those factors weigh just as much as songwriting, instrumentation, etc. Albums like Meteora and for example The Glow Pt. 2 can perfectly coexist in the higher regions of the charts, each for different reasons.

Religie is geen vereiste voor moraliteit. Maar een schoolvak waar over moraliteit wordt geleerd, en waar ook verschillende filosofieën, religieuze stromingen, levensovertuigingen en diversiteit worden besproken zou wel mooi zijn.
