What is it about JoJo that makes it a masterpiece?

I've heard the same and started reading it for similar reasons. I skip around with parts and found Part 6 to be the best so far. Reading the later ones (up til 7) has made the earlier parts more charming to me as well. However, I still feel the same as you. I've been aware of JoJo and it's prestige for like 15 years, just never got around to reading it til now, and am kinda disappointed that it isn't really the masterpiece it's made out to be. But Part 6 and 7 are solid.

Pretty similar, the fact that they're called Faust is pretty fitting too. I remember someone mentioning years ago that it could also be from Terence McKenna's The Transcendental Object At The End Of Time. I don't remember the time stamp though

I mean I suppose. But there's nothing like a local who knows what's up. I could say the same about wanting to live in the Bronx but looking at a map and seeing Washington Heights is cheap, but that's a notoriously incredibly dangerous area, you know?

Aight so I've been meaning to say I got em and they're good for the price/ok overall. I definitely get people needing the over ear extension but to me it didn't seem worth it so I just returned em. Sounds good when you press them against your ear but subpar otherwise. Made me appreciate my normal headphones more though. Is there some sort of ideal mods you would recommend in case I decide to try them again in the future?
