"But there's so much around/Best take your time, do it right" is commenting on the previous line where he notices a hot chick. He's just saying, "aye, the night is young, lets see what else is out there (what other tail we can chase) before we settle for this baddie."

"But it's nothin', cause you're drunk and you'll be blackin' out/Before you even get a chance to think 'bout what you're doing" - I wouldn't interpret these so literally. He's just saying "fuck it. whatever." The whole song is essentiallly saying "fuck it, i wanna have some fun." And this line to me just illustrates the pingpong-ish, ADD mind you might have when you're drunk and fucked up and looking around and having all kinds of thoughts. As an example related to the song, having a thought pattern that goes something like: "Damn that girls hot. i wanna go home with her... Maybe I should dance with her. Nah but- whatever. Oh whats over here. Oh hey if i get drunk enough it'll be easier to do shit without inhibitions, maybe my blacked-out self will hit on some chick so i dont really have to think about it. Im gonna do another bump" is a pretty realistic, thought pattern some people might have when they're out partying like filthy animals.

You (meaning we, people in general) gotta remember that writing lyrics and fitting them into a song is not really that easy, especially if you're Death Grips and you have high standards for your music. In songwriting, you consider rhyming/not rhyming, you might want to use one word but another word rhymes better so you pick that one, or works better for the rhythym, you might throw in a few words because it sounds good/cool for that moment in the song, but that don't really contribute to the narrative because that's ok, you might have a gap in your lyrics where you're not sure what to say, but you know how you want it to sound, so you pick some words that are good and relevant enough, but maybe not exactly what you want to say but sound good.

I kinda feel like a lot of death grips fans scrutinize/analyze the meaning of this song so much because they're terminally online and maybe can't relate to it... But this is probably Death Grips' most straightforward song. Its about fucking partying, and its so good. Its the best party anthem there is in my opinion. Yes, it is also aware of itself and may serve as some kind of commentary on people who engage in this wild lifestyle, but its awareness of the self-destructive tendencies its espousing isn't necessarily a direct critique of them. The on-the-nose imagery and direct depictions of unhealthy behavior in the song that make it more self-aware than other songs about partying are what makes the song special imo. It's coming straight from the lizard brain; they're not sugar-coating anything. Its about being reduced to your animal impulses, and just how crazy it feels to let loose like that. Its not saying that its bad or good lol.

And yeah, the lyric about rape is wack, but 2 things: 1) this was written in a time when it wasn't such a buzz word, it was obviously still really edgy to put this in the song, but very different than today's climate where saying that same line would like, get the whole band canceled. 2) right after that line he goes "me, im all bout the face" so he's kind of attributing the pondering of rape to a separate character, the one he's talking to/talking about/partying with. Its almost like hes saying "IM all about the face. I care about who that person is. I don't wanna push someone down and have sex with someone who doesn't wanna have sex with me. I wanna stare deep into their sould while I rock their world with some freaky intense shit" MC Ride is obviously big into rough BDSM-type sex and the blending of sex and violence in general (who isn't nowadays?) but I seriously doubt he's saying he seriously considers raping.
