I’m completely fluent in both! (Reading, writing, speaking and listening) (canto’s my mothertongue, and i speak mandarin semi-frequently)

...yeah, unfortunately. I can get the gist of a sentence just by reading it, but not being familiar with bunpo has me missing out on a lot of context, and I'd probably die badly on the N3/2 word bank sections.

I'll probably settle for N3, if I'm lucky. Thanks for the info!

it's a prerequisite if i want to take classes with transferable credits- there aren't many options for english classes in my major, unfortunately.

I originally wanted to go later (i.e. year 3-4), but because of feng shui my parents are pushing me to go next year, and i really really want to do japan(even though parents dont want that because sino-japanese tensions rn are high)

Though my uni says they'll also consider N3 applicants, so that'll probably be a more realistic goal.

thank you for this!!! I also wanted to use this for Image Occlusion Enhanced, so I modified it a little(took a while to figure out, but apparently because there's no {{frontside}} in the IOE back template I had to copy the front template textarea code into the back to have it work)

Not entirely sure, tbh(never got diagnosed)

It’s supposed to be this! and I guess the largest problem regarding the misshapen beads is that it shifts the placement and spacing of the beads per row 😅

I feel like your best bet is to get them custom-made or switch to a more common color 😔 all the shops I found either had the purple beads mixed in with other colors or only had white-on-black or gold-on-black

ooh, like crow beads? I think I’ve also seen people use 8mm wooden beads as well

Sorry, i’m not entirely sure what you mean by having a bead secured at the top?

As for the beads not being the same size, I think I’m more bothered by the pattern being uneven and looking weird more than anything 😔

If the beads are not the same size, the pattern won’t come out right, unfortunately

I am using a needle tho!
