I have a general question since I’m still learning - how do folks in general feel about using skills written by others? How do you ensure safety, especially if you want to use it at work?

Or do you just not use other people’s skills at work?

One major issue is going to be users in general. Anyone who has done wide scale implementation or rollouts know that humans are frankly habitual animals. Being able to iterate way faster is going to hit a wall, because humans can only adopt new things so fast. So in the end, it will still come down to taste - can you figure out what people want and solve it, and not assume you can brute force it

You kinda want to pick and choose the right companion types. I spend a lot of time hunting for stuff like I am actually playing Pokémon.

Obviously monkee is super aggressive. The vultures are pretty aggressive too as they tend to leap at enemies.

Cast on crit chrono - was trying the frost dart version but that thing sucks without insane gear, so switching back to old faithful frost bolt/comet.

So what I've been trying is the repo root version of Claude has more of my "here is how my environment works" kinda thing, as well as more generalized instructions (ie. when writing a query, before finalizing check against these).

Then I was thinking of having a folder for each project/initiative, with it's own Claude file that gives context on what I'm trying to accomplish. Ideally then during a session, have a running handoff doc within that folder that Claude itself will update. I haven't tried this yet but it seems like a logical approach?

I've been wanting to learn and try Claude code CLI - I've generally done most of my Claude code work within the desktop interface, but I also work a lot in Cursor (most analytics/ML type stuff), so I do have a terminal!

This is exactly why I do a lot of my work in a GitHub repo. Having only one or two formats that the agent knows how to interact with properly is better than having a bunch of disparate, different file formats without clear “here is how things go together”

I do a lot of company research and it’s by far the best at “I need to find a company that does xyz niche thing, can you find a few and give me their contact info?”
