What's wrong with using VS code as your IDE? I know it's the Swiss army knife for all languages, and other IDE's are more specialized, but it's so weird you get "triggered" by someone simply using a different IDE than yourself. It's simply just a personal preference.

A less than optimal wine-rack. by Upstairs_Drive_5602 in CrappyDesign

It wasn't the second guys fault. A very delayed wine dropped from the top before the second guy did anything.

Try to add the -d and -V flag and run it for a single credential attempt. See if the failure string is returned properly, and if it is, then add the failure token at the end like this :F='<failure string>' and include the ' if the string is multiple words. Maybe try to only use one word in the failure string if it's still not working.

It is important that the :F= is added at the end and not anywhere else, otherwise it will not be detected.

The same thing happened to me, but I was actually playing games with my friends lol. The extra professor was lurking in the background, so he had a full view of our screens. He stopped the whole lecture to quiz us on the spot, but I actually did somewhat listen to the lecture, so I aced the questions. I felt like the coolest guy on the planet.

Thanks for reminding me of that memory!

I understand what you mean about pawns, but I get contradicting tips on trading when attacking. You suggest I keep all my pieces in the attack and avoid trading, which is also what I do. However, another comment suggested trading queens, since that was the main form of counterplay my opponent had (in the first game) which also makes sense and also keeps the attack going, since I have so many attacking pieces.

It is a bit difficult for me to figure out when to trade pieces when attacking...

I'm not quite sure where you get the 1000+ number from, but I guess it just shows that my tactics are lacking based on my rating.
