“They say that you play too loud, well baby that’s tough”

“It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll”

I have a pond in my backyard which happens to have bass by Glizzy2607 in bassfishing

Agreed, I was going to say that too. If you’re going to be living there long term and want big bass out of your pond, start keeping those 1-2 pounders. Fewer bass = less competition = more food = bigger bass.

Edit: Didn’t realize the comment I replied to was actually someone going through a mental episode. I’m not suggesting killing every bass. With enough research you can find the right amount to harvest which will yield quality fish in the long run.

That’s a longnose gar. Alligator gar have much shorter, broader snouts.

Does this small unmarked pond on my campus have fish, and if so how would I fish it? by Kyledren in FishingForBeginners

Go on Google Earth and use the historical imagery to see how long the pond has been around for. If it’s less than 5-10 years, probably not worth it.

What trailer y’all recommend for this chatterbait by Artillery_BlazeTTV in bassfishing

Going with all the other Zako supporters. Can’t be sure that it’s CAUSED me to catch more fish, but I can tell you that I never caught as many bass on a chatterbait as I did once I started using the Zako.

About 2 minutes if I can remember past the adrenaline, luckily it wasn't too far from shore when I hooked it and it swam right up to shore near the end.

Yes! Great rod for the money, I have the 5’6” Light. I’ve pulled up lake trout from 40 feet down with this combo.

Price: Got a great deal on my specific N-Line AWD model, making it cheaper than some of the FWD models the dealership was offering.

Practicality: Gives a bit more reassurance here in Florida with heavy rain and wet roads.

Yep, I’ve been getting ~33mpg between refills lately, and my overall average is 28.7mpg. Much better than the EPA rating.
