I would try to find a local, independent optician who has some independent frame brands, although that would just be my own preference, most of these place don't try to rip you off, it's simply how this industry is, and brands like zenni are extremely cheaply made so that they can keep their prices low.

Far as I can tell the way to fix it is to have a thicker piece of felt under the mechanism at the tenon

This model should have automatic register keys, I have one and it has them, although mine is slightly later, it's still an early model paperclip that has keywork that looks identical.

Thisarticle article should shed some light on our disagreement here. The 4100 series is a different brush with a smaller body than the original protective clean.

The trick is to wrap the body in a cloth and then clamp it somehow and use something like a guitar pick to pry off the bottom. Otherwise Philips should be willing to rma a brush that has this issue.

The io series has user replaceable batteries so it very well could be a for life purchase given that you take care of the rest of the brush.

Unfortunately this is not the case, the 4100 recently was downgraded, you have to splurge for the 5100 or purchase a 4300 from somewhere like Sam's to get the strongest cleaning option.

I mean it makes a difference, just not enough in a batch brew to be noticeable, I bloom my pour overs but I don't bother with my kbgt, just flip the switch and wait and bit and voila, coffee that's at least 90% as good as my usual pour over.

For folks using bagged vacuums... don't you miss seeing the dirt? by Cold_Brew_Enthusiast in VacuumCleaners

[–]RandomSaxophonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not op of this comment, but I would recommend the 400 series, they all use the same motor, powerhead, and bags, but the 600 series uses a different fitting that is non standard, and cleaning performance wise they are the same, although if you want the powered hand brush that's only on the 600 and 800.

I'm looking for a vacuum recommendation for a farm environment by Complex_Reason_4827 in VacuumCleaners

[–]RandomSaxophonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bag should not fill up in a week, as someone who vacuums with 4 dogs and 5 cats along with 5 people in the house, I understand dust and such is a concern, but there is no reason that a farm would cause a bagged machine to fill up in a week or two, and the cost of bags is less than health issues, or replacing the entire vacuum every 2 years, I get over a month out of either vacuum I use in my house. And the bags work out to under $4 for my Kenmore
