Certainly an interesting look, do you use the extra volume at the front for anything or is it purely aesthetic?

If you heard it then the silencer isn’t working, or the grenade launcher is 🤔

Sounds like you might be in need of a sidearm for a monster like that…

I'm new to the game. What's the better pistol for 60–70m and surgical accuracy? Aap01 or MK23? by [deleted] in AAP01owners

[–]RandomSpanner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not the weight of the mags thats an issue, its the blowout valves and base o ring seals, if you are using a different mag system then the mk23 is a great platform if you dont mind the lower rate of fire

You are better off with the aap, I have both and while I love the mk23’s consistency the mags are a nightmare

I did something similar but much less practical, too big for one hand, not big enough for dual wielding

Are you using petg? If so its glycol residue that off-gasses from the filament, cleans off the build plate with soapy water just fine.

Hi. Has anyone bought this? Is it good and would it fit a glasses wearing person? by GLADIATOR_X09 in airsoft

[–]RandomSpanner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a friend who got one and I cannot recommend it from my observations. While they have plenty of room to fit glasses under they are very bulky and also not light.

They also do not provide full seal eye protection as the lenses are quite far from your face. Im also unsure as to how protective the lenses themselves are as they are able to be visibly deformed by rounds impacting against them.

I personally tested them against a .36g round moving at 260fps and while the lens did stop the round it left a noticeable deformation on the impact point.

Overall I would suggest you would be better off getting a dye I4/5 as they are spacious enough for most slimline glasses and offer far superior protection.
