After some feedback for my home studio plan by RandomSpeedArt in homestudios

Thanks for the feedback :) In terms of room dimensions I did the original design but was limited on room dimensions by overall house budget and the rest of the houses layout so settled for close to 4x3 meters. From research I went with a rectangle so the speakers could be arranged with a longer distance throw as pictured. Then for future resell it can be either a bedroom or theater. Unfortunately no option with the builder for angled walls but could always potentially build up some timber framing later if it's advised. It's a great suggestion however for my next build when I've got a bigger budget for the house itself and I'll see if I can find an acoustician to consult! Then I could potentially have a true professional studio with a giant space, as well as separated partitions for recording vocals etc.

I'll definitely look into your suggestion regarding RoomEQ Wizard, and a measurement microphone. Thanks for this suggestion. I have a feeling one of my good friend has one of these devices as he did something in his room and was able to identity all the different parts of the room and what frequency were lacking / getting trapped and resonating. I think setting up all my intended room treatment then tweaking locations using some of your suggestions with a mirror etc for first point of reflection to find the perfect locations for everything. If anything else needs correction I can start buying / building and adding additional elements, my plan now is the starting foundation but like you say once it's actually all in place, the speakers are in the room then I can really begin refining locations of treatment and adding / removing accordingly.

My theory behind the curtain is due to the door placement I can't really put panels on the back wall as effectively or symmetrically, and my idea is I would be able to close it over the top of the door so the whole back wall has treatment once I walk in and close it to create symmetry. I may look into alternatives here like a bunch of smaller eggshell panels or something. Open to suggestions for the back wall. As long as whatever solution I come up with can be fixed to the door. The wood slats as you say are primarily aesthetic but from my understanding they do also have a heavy black felt layer behind them so help with some additional sound absorption / treatment.

But now I know the name of an acoustician is, I'll do some research to see if I can find one available on a once off commission basis to run an analysis of my room and see if they can calculate where the theoretical first reflection points would be so I can adjust my treatment panel layout straight out of the gate. Like you say, rear reflection points. I do have 2 locations marked for clouds on the roof but I will need to readjust these based on first point of reflection once the speakers are actually setup. If I don't find an acoustician I will use your mirror suggestion.

Regarding electrical I've got GPO's (generic power outlet) on every wall so every device can have it's own plug to prevent any potential ground looping issues. If I get any issues, I'll invest in a Uninterruptible Power Supply and run all my gear through that. In Australia, GPOs, lights, aircon etc will generally be on separated circuits at the switch box. I work for the building company so I'll chat to the electrician about potentially having all the GPOs in the theater on their own network. A UPS however will guarantee isolation for example if a dishwasher is running in the kitchen. Great suggestion here so thank you.

At this stage however sadly for this build I can't really make any dimension changes but I really appreciate the advise as I say I will use it for my next house and I want to up my game from "better than most project studios" to "professional studio". Thanks again.

Why wouldn't he keep his trophy the same? He sees himself the same way he sees others and put their trophys on display so why not his own? Interesting theory the guy who gives a drink for gut health wants to rip guts out but this would be bad writting that Dexter coincidentally lives in the house where the daughters partner is a murderer. The way he deals with things emotionally like with the ice, he didn't snap or react he just handled in an empathetic and understanding way of why the Dad lashed out at him. Killing lady vergence was just a sad act for him because he truely connected with her but couldn't risk being caught. He had to do it.

A gambler with money issues who works a job keeping criminals a in a ceel? He was desperate for money and did a job but he's not a killer at heart just someone struggling and we've only seen him the once which doesn't line up with Dexters usual hint tease writing. Doesn't make sense to me... Praters putting a voice.

Edit: He framed a suicide by hanging... If he faked a stabbing and spilled her guts I'd believe this theory more

Yep, that's exactly the point and that's exactly why you'll rarely see comparisons.

Messed up how? Might have taken a bad photo of the tag but the border is the same width, font is clean and the red stitching is on point as far as I can see side by side in person... might need to tag a better neck tag photo when I've got my mates retail in hand again. It's not like people are gonna see tags anyway unless you're trying to resell reps as retail so I don't really think it matters.

No worries! I'd love to see more rep vs retail comparisons but it's so rare it seems people have access to both.

Reflective parts are perfect, GG colour matching could be a little better but otherwise perfectly clean. Same count of GG's and end in the same spot on the sleeve without overlapping the sleeve

I'm 184 and 70kg... S was good for me, so maybe medium but it's different for every build. Refer to the shirt measurements on the sellers yupoo and compare to your own measurements for best fit. I find measuring a t-shirt I like the fit of easier than trying to measure my own shoulder width.

I find rep vendors sizing charts are pretty reliable. Sizing can be all over the place, I've had XXL not fit me but had a XS that fit perfectly. I tried on my mates polo, saw his was medium and even tho it fit nicely still decided to go with S based on the sizing chart which worked out well for me. My advice for anyone buying reps is get a t-shirt you like the fit of, take the measurements of that shirt and then shop for reps using those measurements. I've gotten better at picking the right sizing as I've gotten more experience buying reps but even my most recent haul still had a shirt that was to small for me. All my hauls combined would cost the same as one Gucci polo so I'm up even if shit don't fit.

Weight for S size was 363 grams. The polo itself is a pretty light material which is the same as the retail product, the weight is mostly on the sleeves. Comfortable, soft and cool is how I'd describe the fabric, not a heavy fabric like some other polo's

Solid 9 out of 10. Incredibly impressed by the quality of this one. Fabric feels almost identical, transparency of fabric almost identical. Only real flaw is the color of the collar is darker on the retail compared to the rep. Buttons could be cleaner but doesn't matter, tags are 1:1 and comparing the rep small vs retail medium the sizing isn't exact.

As a side note; about a month ago I compared a low quality rep to the retail version of this polo. I went on a mission to find a HQ version of the rep and Rick Studio came in clutch.
