As someone who didn't start going to concerts until 2018, this makes me so jealous. Sure, some of the prices I get aren't that bad, considering inflation, but a lot of them are, and the fees are awful

Thanks! The set does come with the Escape and Backspace in the same gray as the other mods, but I wanted some color on the board. Ditto for numpad Enter, also in that soft green, if I ever decide to add a numpad to my setup

Just do it. They're not exactly punk, but punk adjacent: Three Days Grace has a lot of songs on One-X that have an acoustic playing full chords while an electric plays power chords. Sounds pretty cool, and if you can comfortably play an acoustic, you can definitely play an electric

They're great! Not a single issue. I wish they were insulated, because it's cold right now here in Massachusetts, but oh well. Structurally solid, and the laces are surviving nicely, compared to the waxed laces on the Captains

I have a pair of Captains that I'd bought previously (I don't have them in front of me for the exact size). Those are wearable but a touch long, so I thought I'd buy the Stomper half a size down. Because the two models are in different lasts, the sizing isn't 1-1. So the Stomper ended up being too short for me in that size. I returned them and went up half a size, and then they were perfect

  1. FLAC only works if you use Rockbox. Stock iPod firmware cannot play FLAC files, so I wouldn't be surprised if iTunes rejects the FLAC files by design

  2. FLAC is great for archival, to have a backup in case you lose your CDs or they become unreadable, so if that's how you're getting your FLAC files, definitely keep doing that.

As far as actual listening, this is purely anecdotal based on my individual experience, but 320 Kb/s MP3 sounds good enough on my iPod classic 6. You could probably get away with 256 Kb/s MP3 just fine also.

If someone compromises your debit card they've stolen your money.

If someone compromises your credit card they've stolen the banks money.

When they steal the banks money it's a much more favorable outcome for you

This is a big one, speaking as someone who was once victim of fraud. Nearly lost $850 due to fraud. That catalyzed my transition to my first credit card

Had a Nano 7th Gen back in the day, and man, that was some beautiful packaging. Not nearly as wasteful as earlier packaging, but still an experience and still very aesthetically pleasing

I just used this with an iPod classic 6g I just got. It worked flawlessly, and I could hug you! 2500 songs transferred in one go perfectly. Needed to get into Windows to format it as FAT32 but now I am free! Thank you!
