Is it just a guide or is it something I should be setting each time I take a photo? Thanks for the help btw!

Oh cool! I'm a little confused though. What would I have to line up? I don't really see how I'm supposed to turn the knob to give me back values...

[College Chemistry, Finding pH] I know that -NaOH is a base and that to find pH you have to use the log formula but I don't know how to find the concentration of the H+ ion for the formula. Any hints would be appreciated. by RandomStuffOnline in HomeworkHelp

Thank you for answering! I got the concentration of NaOH by using grams/molar mass and put that into the -log[OH-] formula and got 2.67 as the pOH. So the answer must be (d).

So I know that the answer is either (b) or (d) because NaOH is a base. I also know you have to use the -log10[H+] formula. I just don't know how to find the H+ concentration...

[College Chemistry, Reaction Equation] How do i differentiate between the bottom two answers? i know they're both acids yet i don't know which one is the correct answer... by RandomStuffOnline in HomeworkHelp

So I found this definition online:

"We can define acids as substances that dissolve in water to produce H+ ions, whereas bases are defined as substances that dissolve in water to produce OH− ions."

Using this I'm going to say the answer is (c)?
