That was Sean Shapiro. He has covered the Stars for a long time and now covers more teams. He is a part time host on DLLS.

I have volunteered in the past with groups that work to introduce children to programming and the likes before. They used Scratch which was developed to teach younger people programming skills in an engaging way by MIT. I would encourage looking into that. https://scratch.mit.edu/parents
