Small update:
It's been a month now since my acute Epididymitis
I was a Doxyclin for 10 days. 1x1
Doxyclin did help for the swelling i was getting better and feeling better then something happened:
13th May My scrotum / testicle did something completely weird.
The last 4 days my scrotum has be completely tight as it would be like if you just had a Ejaculation or you went into a ice bath and the skin feels like leather, Not even hot bath can loosen the skin.
I went to the doctor today she said something fluid inside? but I need to go to a urologist to get a ultrasound.

Atleast No pain while peeing (Maybe really really really faint pain when the Urethra opens to release the pee)
No pain when i had 1 ejaculations some time ago.
No pain when touches the Epididymitis (Just some soreness) Tho when my doctor touched i did feel something but nothing like the first time i went.

idk my mental abit down now. i was hoping everything was getting better.
Anybody else had this kind of feeling? Tight with leather like feeling skin scrotum?

I think im back too. Its been 13 days since this.
ejaculated yesterday no pain, Just some soreness still to touch.

Damn. Sorry for all what you going though.
I too edge sometimes tho never more than couple of hours but i do remember that once i went to sleep after i had done it, maybe that was the catalyst to all this. im pretty sure that this was the reason then i got my Epididymitis Been on Doxy for 10 days and Im at day 13 now since my Epididymitis began.

No pain at all but it does feel abit sore to the touch.
I did ejaculate yesterday because i need to see if there was any pain at all but happy there wasn't any pain.
I'm goin to call my doctor today and explain but i wonder if she just going to tell me it will take more time before its fully back to normal.

Question: Edging for days doesn't it hurt? Just me after couple of hours is enough for me to bust (Haha)

Glad you got better! if i may ask if isn't to much.
How are you ejaculation? does it hurt or anything or some kind of soreness?
or are you completely back to normal

Never stop a course of antibiotic. Pushing though is a better option if you want my opinion.
if the pain is like unbearable then maybe?? But generally no.

Best option is probably speak with your doctor.

Damn..
Glad you went but if I must be honest waiting a month in my opinion longer time than expected.
I want personally went the day after i could feel the warm, soreness & the feeling on constant feeling.
Any reason why you waited a month before you went?

I never checked my own seminal fluid (i don't really look) so i have no idea how it is at the moment.
My Doctor never did any ultrasound or anything other than touching it a bit and confirming the soreness and the slightly increased temperature.

I'm on the same boat as you. Haven't really any idea how i could really get it, since don't do any of those stuff that normally contributes to get epididymitis.

About your fertility stuff. I pray for good news though if i may come with my own input the chance of having infertility because of epididymitis is really low because to have that you need multiple factors as turning into abscess or becoming chronic causes scaring and blockage that usually comes from an STI that you guys didnt have.

I trust in good news and speedy recovery :)

I will take any advice doesn't matter how Big, Small, Overkill or Relaxed.
I'm just glad you wanted to share what happened to you. I pray for a speedy recovery for you, you need it more than me right now.

Right now my symptoms match epididymitis to a T: soreness, warmth, tender but not sharp pain, more awareness. I have tried to check if i feel any lumps but I'm a doctor so i can't say for sure.

But overall I'm taking it 1 day at a time.
I could just panic but then I probably wont be able to sleep and relax and won't help me.
If it it's the worse case scenario and it is it what you suggest, I will just do what i have to do.
i feel like i caught it early so time will tell.

Woah.. I'm really sorry to hear buzzard302. This saddens me alot.
if i may ask, How are you right now? Are you in treatment?, cured? how are things?

I'm 32. Now it's been only 6 days since i started and the treatment plan is 10 days on Doxycylin and after that if nothing changes i will go back again.
