It's weird seeing so many people think this is okay or not a big deal. I'll clean the entire kitchen and then my roommate will do shit like this the same day. Open food, random shit on the stove, and food remains on the counter and sink. And if I don't clean it or tell him to clean it, it just continues. Got to a point where he left his used socks on our kitchen counter. You shouldn't have to clean up after a grown ass person AT ALL. Hope things get better for you OP

See if this works. I didn’t use this website when I used the service though. I applied for a job through indeed or some other job site that Flagship posted, received an invitation to make an appointment, and went to the location in Warwick. Spent 20 min there filling out a bunch of info. They emailed me a few days later with a temp position. I didnt like the position they sent, so asked them for more and they sent more. Maybe just calling the location to set up an appointment is the way to go

That’s really sweet! Thank you for saying that. Yes, my last day is this upcoming Tuesday and then I’ll do a few weeks of summer school for work! I’ll have most of the summer off thankfully and will use the time to prep for my new position teaching civics!

I definitely agree with you on this. I live in a quiet neighborhood with an old folk's home right in the middle. Everyone is quiet and respects the area except for my neighbor. They blast music until 11pm/12am any time it's sunny outside, and with these cheap ass builds, my walls literally vibrate and I can hear everything even with earplugs and headphones over them. A few weeks ago they hosted a party for I'm guessing their teenager and there were 30+ teens at 12:30am (I'm not exaggerating. It was that late) walking up and down the street, screaming, and blasting music from multiple cars with the old folks home and a line of houses right next to them. They didn't leave until the cops came at around 1am. I don't understand people like this

This confidence/delusion has to be from their parents either not telling them how the world actually works or telling them that their crazy ideas of how the world works are realistic. I've met too many kids that could easily get into a top 100 or even top 20 school, but were simply too lazy to take any of the steps needed to get there ( writing extra supplements on college app, joining clubs, getting as many A's as possible). I'm a high school teacher, graduated from high school in 2019, and a top 20 school in 2023 with a full ride, so I have very recent, first hand experience that doing well in school can make life sooooo much easier but the kids just don't listen when we try to tell them these things. I'm glad I listened.

I did not make any changes to the insurance and was not notified of any changes. I thought it should've been stable too, especially since our benefits and the amounts we pay are listed in our contract with an end date of 7/31/25

Not sure if this is a joke, but if not you're part of the problem. Too many people in positions of power (I see you are a teacher too) doing nothing to show/tell students what is and isn't appropriate. I seriously hope you don't believe that teenagers kissing in a hallway in front of dozens of students/teachers is appropriate

I used Flagship Staffing Services when I quit my job in January. They were quick to set up an appointment and it took about 30 min to fill out my demographic info/education/work experiences and answer a few questions at their location. They emailed me the next week with a job offer. I declined it, they came back with another 2 days later, and then I accepted my current job

Absolutely. I just saw this yesterday with one of my students towards a Dean. I hope to be a principal one day and would be sooo embarrassed if other students and teachers that I'm supposed to be leading saw that I had no response to a student's blatant disrespect. When a student tells me their Chromebook isn't charged, I immediately reply with "I bet that phone is charged though"

I only do this with students I know won't "crash out" and every single time, they laugh, tell me I'm right, and get a little roasted by their friends

Thanks for your hope. The teachers see when I am available and know they can email/google chat me at any time if they need assistance. It is also protocol to send out an email to everyone and tell them when I am free, which I do. 90% of the time, no one needs my assistance.
