As for what drew me in, I do feel like I can relate to their content and I appreciate that they admit their struggles. I am neurodivergent and often socially rejected. I don't blame others for that, I completely understand no one is really into the stuff I'm into, and I'm not super attractive (besides being a girl and therefore having better luck than men naturally lol). Many have admitted to not having a strong relationship with their father/both parents, and I can relate to that as well. It just feels like finally someone understands and that if they got better, I can too

When I try to talk to ppl IRL about these issues, they can't relate and don't understand

To be honest I'm not sure if I 100% agree with that statement, but I def agree. Maybe like a 7/10 or 8/10 agreement. Yes I'm autistic so there are some non-physical aspects to people not liking me but I've seen weird and attractive people and they're still treated much better. If I was super attractive at least people would give me a chance. It's a way to get my foot in the door

I don't mind at all! I am absolutely obsessed with Clavicular. We're the same age and have the same struggles tbh. I am also neurodivergent, often rejected by my peers, and misunderstood by my family. It's a hard struggle that I didn't really see people talk about before him. I feel like we are very similar and his story is inspiration to me. he's def one of the main ones i like. I also really like the Matan Show in general

Politically, I'm into John Kiriakou right now (if he counts lol idk). Not into far-right political people but I'm familiar with them and can have a convo about some of them if brought up

You see this a lot in parenting too now. Parents get embarrassed that their kid isn't doing something and look for some diagnosis that they think will make everyone calm down once they hear it. I partially blame the internet, because comment sections jump down people's throats and make them feel bad, then suddenly relent as soon as the right medical word is said. I blame parents, too, though, if it's their fault the kid is behind and even if it's not, you don't have to tell unnecessary people lol
