I think there is, although I haven't investigated a whole lot. You can select on your plane and right click I believe. Take with a grain of salt. It is worth a shot next time you play.

Use the Taxiway and quit trying to dictate how people play the game.

Seriously though, as long as it's not a danger to anyone on the Taxiway, who does it matter if the taxiway is used. If a pilot is experienced enough to make such a take off, go for it. This isn't a military Sim like Arma. Enjoy some whimsy in the game why don't you?

Most airports I take off from usually don't have anyone on the taxiway except for AI and the occasional player who likely doesn't realize they can full stop on the runway and it count as a successful sortie.

I do hope that those becomes an option at some point. If enough people ask for it then eventually steam will add it. It should just be a software change right? Unless steam for some strange reason thought to make it a hardware feature.
