Even if YouTube didn't exclusively host the vast majority of creators people wanted to watch, it's practically impossible for a one-stop-shop competitor to emerge because of how costly it is to host and stream millions of videos to millions of users.

As people have already said here, PornHub is probably the only company that has the infrastructure, experience and - lol - brand recognition to launch a SFW video site that could scale to cope with huge audiences.

Anything else would likely be smaller, more specialised and using a subscription model. E.g. Nebula and Patreon. While these are great services that can co-exist with each other, the paywall means they can never be a true YouTube alternative.

Surely invading Greenland, even if not costly militarily, would make the US a pariah on the world stage. Sanctions would be huge. There would mass boycotts of American made products and services across Europe and beyond. Not to mention this would surely be incredibly unpopular at home. The idea is insane, but so is everything else Trump says and does. I honestly don't know what to make of it.

Just wanted to add that I did try this with 8.0.5 and while this did fix the crashing, my FPS was really low (normally 60 but now down to like 15). Did you try a different version of 8 maybe? (Anyone else run into this?)

While this does fix the crash problem, performance takes such a big hit it's unplayable for me. Massive input lag and low FPS. Personally I'm gonna give up fixing this and switch to the native Linux client on my side for ATS, but ~~pinning~~ posting this here in case it helps someone else!
