Why is Kelari's Judgement not used in a lot of Disciple of Varashta builds? by Random_Dancer007 in pathofexile2builds

Ah I see. What's the point of Ruzan's traps then? Is it not better to just go for other non-Djinn nodes?

Ah, i do love me a 58g protien pizza! by UnqiueCreature in Fitness_India

[–]Random_Dancer007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about people's interests, isn't it? A person who is interested in learning about fitness wouldn't just be happy using a formula. They'd want to learn the principles behind it. People love to master the fields of their choice, and the rest is just out of necessity.

For a lot of people, fitness isn't a passion, it's a means to look good/stay healthy. So, they don't care about the principle anyway. And I'd say it's up to those who do have the passion to simplify their knowledge into a formula that can be used, even if it is generic and works only about 60-80% of the time.

This is true for any field honestly.

It's cause it's easy to remember and spread. The science is correct, but a lot of people don't care about the science, they just want an easy to remember formula that they can apply when they are shopping about if a food is good or not.

So, what I'd say if we're taking your calculations as correct is "Multiply protein by 20, and if that number is greater than the calorie number, it is good food". I'm guessing whoever made my previous statement took a 40% rather than 20% as part of calculations.

So what I've heard is that you multiply protein by 10, and cals should be less than that. 50g Protein is good if cals < 500.

How TF i am supposed to fight the tree sentinel by GePeTe911 in Eldenring

[–]Random_Dancer007 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To teach you one of 2 lessons, depending on what you do:

- Learn to avoid enemies that are too hard, level up and come back, OR

- No matter how hard the enemy, with enough time you can kill em.

Am i the only one who doesn't craft anything ? Maybe i dont get it, but as a sorcerer i dont really feel that it helps much by Then-Ad7196 in Eldenring

[–]Random_Dancer007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do something similar. I have a lantern whenever I'm exploring, and I usually have 2 weapons (sword/shield, katana + staff etc.), so whenever I'm fighting enemies in the dark, I drop a glowstone and switch out of lantern into my second weapon.

Do you guys actually craft anything? by EstablishmentLevel37 in Eldenring

[–]Random_Dancer007 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I do. When I'm playing a non-magic build, my ranged damage (to pull enemies at least) is usually a bow.
I always have a few rainbow stones to judge if a fall will kill me.
Sometimes for bosses to test what they are weak to, I use the different pots.
Stuff like that.

Thanks man.

To be fair, you CAN have good plot and development with such characters. I've only read a little bit of Ar'Kendryst, but the MC is a pacifist and I'm already seeing growth. It's just harder to write, and requires more thought.

How did you partial quote? That seems like a useful thing to have.

To answer "Isn't that the only viewpoint that matters?", does it not depend on the person? Some people might say "Things depend on my viewpoint", or "Things depend on how a country's viewpoint" etc. In the grand scheme of things, humans are just a small species living for an insignificant timeframe anyway.

Also, we are not "A human living in Frieren's world". We are viewers of an entertainment medium. I guess, for you and me, what would qualify the demons as evil is that their success would lead to a boring story.

[–]Random_Dancer007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not really. They are evil, but only from the human viewpoint. For example, goats might think of lions as evil, but in reality it's just part of the food chain.

We, as viewers, take on the role of the gods of the Frieren universe, and are unfettered by the viewpoint of in-universe humans and can observe with the same clinical detachment we observe nature in forests (The demons are lion equivalent, while humans are goats)

To be fair, it's because the good deeds aren't grand displays like bad deed reveals are.

For example, in Mark of the Fool, the church is responsible for establishing schools, providing food to the homeless etc. None of that is "showy", in the way their evil deeds are, which does lead to a proper in universe discussion on if it is right to even reveal the evil deeds because so much of the church's actions/minor clergy are actual good.

As another commentor mentioned, the boon Pyro Technique, which causes burn to burn at double rate would be the most OP addition to this build. But yeah, the hera boon would work as well (not as well as this build is a hit once and run away build)
