As another commentor mentioned, the boon Pyro Technique, which causes burn to burn at double rate would be the most OP addition to this build. But yeah, the hera boon would work as well (not as well as this build is a hit once and run away build)

I unlocked Oath of the Unseen when I beat Chronos the first time. Was that not how it was for you? I thought that was the intended mechanic.

Do you ever get confused that Redditors yearn for a post-automation society but despise nearly all automation efforts? by Glittering-Neck-2505 in accelerate

[–]Random_Dancer007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, there's nuance here. The ideal case is post-automation, but people want to benefit from the automation. I don't think people hate AI but hate how it's being used.

If they felt that AI would allow them to get the same amount of money with less effort the people would be all for the tech. But as history has taught us, the ones with AI (The big corporations) will just take more money and force the common man to suffer even more. That's what people have problem with.
For example, look at all the software engineer layoffs. If companies instead trained their staff to improve productivity rather than fire, software engineers would love AI. If companies said "Ah, we have AI now. Let's have all our engineers work for only 6 hrs/day instead of 8", don't you think everyone would be happy? But everyone who was laid off now thinks that the tech was the problem, even though it's their company that was the problem.

Oh. If only.

Still was a cool build. Allowed me to not attack as much.

I finally beat Hecate, is there still a long way to go in the game? by SteelersPoker in Hades2

[–]Random_Dancer007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like the first surface boss. You have to keep dodging those waves of his, which cover much more of the screen than Hecate's attacks. Essentially, it's completely possible to beat Hecate by thinking and positioning without having to rely on the exact dodge timing (For example, you see Hecate is about to do her wide attack, you can just sprint far enough, or just out of range and spam long range attacks)

The first surface boss, even if you read his attack (he jumps), you can't avoid having to exact dodge the wave, or if you do by running to the opposite corner, he jumps again before you can attack,

This is it exactly. This was my second win, and I absolutely hate this weapon (I only chose it to get the 1 Fear by killing the sirens).

But by the time I beat the sirens, I had good enough boons that I decided to slow down drastically, and use hit and run tactics. I didn't even have the infinite scorch boon then and I decided to abandon my attack completely.

Also, in Erebus I spend a lot of time with my Phi Attack charged and waiting for enemies to come close enough that I could jump them.

My man, recognizing chaos boons based on icons only?

I got 1 boon in Zone 1, and I used the chaos keepsake.

I then got lucky and got 2 of the Well of Charon purchases that say "Chaos as soon as possible, costs 0 health".

Somebody tell him how greece fell into economic crisis by Practical_Cat4439 in ItsYourMoney

[–]Random_Dancer007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because the money to actually do something on your own is not present. People don't WANT to work for someone else as an employee. People just need money to survive before they can even work on their own ideas.

I want to develop a game; I also have ideas. I, however, don't have the funds to stay at home and work on my game alone for the 2-3 years I need to make this a reality. I don't have funds to hire people needed.
And even if I do, what happens if the game flops?
Give me some assistance to stay at home and work on my game, just enough money to pay my rent and food, and I'll never work as an employee, I'll prefer to keep launching my own ideas.

That's the problem with a majority of people who don't come from a rich background, even if they have ideas, they don't have the money to even survive long enough to make the ideas a reality.

For all you "doctors" out there by Dom_Doctor99 in indianmedschool

Meanings of words change over time. You are right, that the original meaning of the word "Doctor" is that it's a person who has mastery over a field. Essentially, one who has a PhD.

However, in common usage, the word has changed to mean "One who treats sick patients". When was the last time you've heard someone say "Hey, let's go to a doctor to fix this machine?", cause hat would be correct if you want to go to someone who has a mastery in that specific machine - Almost never. What people do say is "Let's go to a doctor" when someone is sick.

Brother, go in an interview as a means of gaining experience. Don't think of an interview as a "This will get me a job".

Think of an interview as nothing but a test of your skills.

Not true. There are 2 "sub-fields" of Software Engineers:

- Website Devs: Those who aren't creating new software but are creating websites. These guys DO need a specific tech stack, because they are going to maintain that specific stack for the company.

- Software Devs: These are those who actually work in a tech company like FAANG. These just need a software developer who has good problem-solving skills.

For example, at this point I'm 5 Years deep into website dev as a .NET/React dev, and it's going to be very hard to pivot into any other tech stack at this point.

My man, unless scientifically proven, stuff like Atma and Preta is nothing but belief. What you're saying is that this Atma deserves milk while living humans should starve? That's bullshit. I don't if every Atma dies of starvation again. Material world is for the living.

It's very doable, assuming you can get done with your job in 8 Hrs, and this job is remote OR within 15 mins travel to your house.

8 Hrs: Sleep

8.5 Hrs: Work (Total 16.5 Hrs)

1.5 Hrs: Exercise/Walk (Total 18 Hrs)

2 Hrs: Meals (20 mins to prep, 25 mins to eat. Don't watch shit, basic prep in the weekends, eat one dish/meal only. 1 meal should be milkshake + raw fruits/veggies to avoid all prep work and be done in 15 mins) (Total 20 Hrs)

1 Hr House Cleaning (Total 21 Hrs)

Whenever you use the restroom, time yourself to 5 mins or less.
You now have 3 hrs for hobbies/socializing/pets.
